the "snowshoe grind" is a really nice trail. I'm drooling over the potential for an early ski season. 

I've actually never done it, but I've liked the idea of it for years. This should the season for it to happen.

Petey has great offensive and defensive instincts with the only areas that need a lot of improvement being getting the puck out of our zone (like Boeser and other young players) and face-offs.... In 2-3 years we will have one of the best centres in the league! Potentially the best centre depth lineup as well... Petey, Horvat, Gaudette, Beagle, Madden.

How is telemarking? Is it hard to do? You have to master two types of skiing? 

its very hard on alpine/Whistler type terrain, this video is doing a similar style on pure nordic skis which is a hoot, just have to watch the knees. 

Its fun thing to add to nordic skiing at places like Cypress. If you can handle the black runs at Cypress you can learn to add this in as long as you're willing to face plant a few times

On Grouse Mountain you can snowshoe to an igloo, then build your own beside it. At $100 I think the price is a bit of a rip, but it's a pretty cool activity if you and him are into outdoor stuff. Unless you ski/snowboard in California I guess you wouldn't have the winter clothes for that though. 

It gets a lot colder in California than folks seem to think ahaha. We own snow boots, etc. I might actually check that out, thanks for the tip Green.

I think you're onto something when saying that Green is simply doing his due diligence. If multiple games go by without any shakeup, what then? Green also professed to have watched a lot of Canuck games over the last year or years (leading to the now famous comment about their play during their meeting) so what's stopping him from implementing those changes now?
