Not to be cold or insensitive at this time, but I want to know why some people cry at a famous person's passing (besides sentiments of loss/ shock) when they haven't met them before. I guess the usual virtue signaling e.g., from posting IG stories in their memory is normal, I don't understand the sadness.
If this is you, could you provide some reasons behind the tearing up? (e.g., anecdotes/ if they meant something to you personally/ significant moments e.g. meeting them); thanks, and RIP Queen E. -

the pyramids were at least built (or begun to be built) for a ruler at or near the end of his life.
Most of the confederate statues were built later to push a racist agenda.
