but he's also injury prone and that shot isn't what it once was. If ANA thinks that they want to take the risk on him, I'd do it and see how Klingberg fit with OEL. If its a bust we walk away clean with a lot of cap space for next season.
We're in all kinds of cap trouble, teams aren't looking to help us make amazing deals.

Hes never had a NHL season where he did not score at a 20 goal and 50 point pace, except for this one and this season he is still on pace for 54 points. He is far from a throw away. If he is traded it should only be for a long term asset that will help out top 4 defense. This hand injury should be very recoverable, just needs time for wound to heal.

boeser for Klinger and a 2nd, boeser is not a write off yet, Klingberg gives us a chance to see if a good RD puck mover actually helps, and if not we flip him at deadline and we get cap space. Boeser just doesn't move needle much for us. The cap space is useful though.
What about boeser for ROR out of St Louis, he is ufa and st Louis needs a change, he could play 3C here and he would help in all areas, if he walks weget cap, deadline flip will also bring back assets.
