  1. I'd rather try and scoop Colin Miller tbh. I think he'd cost us a lot less and have a big impact on the right side.
  2. yeah dunno.... seems like a big overpayment to me but I guess we'll see what the term is. Panarin's agent just threw another steak on the bbq I bet.
  3. I don't see how the back 1/2 of this deal is going to be anything but ugly.
  4. thats a big "other than" though wouldn't you say? The measurement of heat and greenhouse gasses isn't conjecture. We know we can impact that with our own activities. We know ice will melt and cause our coasts major problems. If you want to not act on that, well thats up to you. But debating if weather is extreme enough is a distraction attempt imo from the basic fact you just pointed out yourself, its getting warmer.
  5. of course its always happened, the question is, is our contribution making things worse? The consensus is yes. moving to a less carbon intensive economy is pretty much all we can do. Its better for our cities anyway. It makes sense for us to begin engineering a way out of this vs. waiting until its too late.
  6. I disagree that its one-sided. Thats the game the alt-right is playing imo, they want it set up as an us vs them thing. All we have to do is look at the records of extreme weather events, is the rate of extreme events going up or not? it doesn't have to be political or one-sided.
  7. he's just worried about buttons popping off Cam's shirt and one hitting him in the eye.
  8. different issue. BC started its carbon tax long before any of this was a political hot potato. Its worked out well here. Even Suncor thinks a carbon tax is a good idea btw.
  9. thanks, now everyones got me interested. I need to go find some video's. The kids built like Ohlund so if he can develop some offence to his game this could be an exciting pick. I also like that we don't have to deal with the CHL/AHL age limit bs.
  10. the other thing is with the right wing stuff now, if they get "shut down by a leftie" they claim it gives their statements legitimacy. So imo better to show the flaws and move on.
  11. because I think it opens up a discussion on the kinds of disinformation we'll be seeing a lot more of as the election draws near. Its important to see the kinds of strings they're pulling. This one had a little of everything, anti-tax, conspiracy theory, etc. but others may have more to learn from.
  12. I'll be honest, I kind of skipped over looking at Seider because in part because @Alflives was so high on him...... (I'm kidding Alf )
  13. disagree on the lock - we need to discuss this stuff from different pov's, if for nothing else to show flaws in the opinion pieces or heck maybe we all learn something.
  14. so If Seider, Soderstrom and Cozens are all there at 10 who's your pick?
  15. thats interesting... so you'd take him over Cozens? that seems like a lot based on one tournament but we do need RHD. If the HP list and the one Button did are accurate at all, damn I want Jim to grab up 1 more pick this is a great draft for us if thats possible at all.
  16. it doesn't make much sense to me as an argument against the carbon tax either. Lets just say for arguments sake that the author is correct and we've put more infrastructure in harms way and thats the reason for the bigger costs, we'll still need to pay for it somehow. A broad-based carbon tax is a fair way to do that.
  17. Can someone enlighten me as to the rise of Seider? whats he done to overtake some of those guys on the list? not being critical of him just not sure whats with the rocket up the standings.
  18. So the title says "proves" but the story says "it was not currently possible to determine the portion of damages attributable to greenhouse gases" which is it @Rob_Zepp? you can't have both.

    CBD Oils

Not just then but after I'm quite sore. My dad had arthritis early so thats what we're thinking here too.

    CBD Oils

thats what I thought, thanks. There's too much "CBD does everything" misinformation out there so i'll have to wait for the study and see if there's a benefit and what the interactions with other drugs might be.
