  1. its like the ring in Lord of the Rings. It turns you into a nasty little troll if you use it too much.
  2. thats true, but we do already have guys that can move around the lineup that way as needed. I guess the question is, is the likely 5 1/2 to 6 mil payday really worth it, compared to what you'll get out of Baer or Pearson e.g.? yes he might produce a little more, say even 10 -15 points more if he's with Petey, but is that worth the cap effects? I'm not sold. Panarin on the other hand is a game-changer type player that has a chance of making the other inevitable cap sacrifices worth it.
  3. Its a scary reminder for us guys around this age to get to the doctor once in a while. Very sad for his family, didn't know he had 3 young kids
  4. of those 3, Johansson but I don't know that he's enough of an upgrade on Baer to do the necessary free agent overpayment. In this free agency I'd like Jim to go big or do nothing. Panarin or bust on wingers imo.
  5. lol? with that kind of attitude you expect BC support, OK then. AB has never acted as a true partner in oil production in Canada. Thats just a fact. The whole thing is a toxic mix of myth, attitude and self-interest. All Kenney is doing is creating more opposition to any future projects running through BC. Lol?
  6. this is the real reason for the legislation. The anger over the KM process just gives it convenient cover. AB will happily send BC gas prices through the roof in order to export more dil bit. The only choice will be for BC to import fuel from Washington State, if current gas usage is maintained. Hopefully tho it will spur much wider adoption of electric vehicles.
  7. yeah could be. He's now on the bliss known as my ignore list. Dude needs some lovin'.
  8. meh, you're just a ball of angry dude. I don't know what pissed you off so badly to get you to this point, but you are a black hole. I'm done with you.
  9. I'm guessing someone's high school yearbook caption read "voted most likely to end up alone and angry."
  10. you are the only one on here spouting superiority. In terms of oil use, per capita means squat. What matters to the environment is total output of carbon. How much does China use, in total? more than anyone. Kind of blows your arrogance out of the water.
  11. Europe has smaller distances to deal with. Asia is incredibly vehicle happy. South America too.
  12. Buddy's been ragging on Vancouver all day, based on our commuter fuel usage. But more than 60% of Canada's fuel use is actually in shipping goods - its the semi's we rely on due to the massive distances we have to overcome to ship goods. On a personal vehicle basis, we're actually not out worse than anyone like he claims. Dude is so salty I think he's got fish sauce for blood.
  13. yeah I know, the more useless of the consumption stats for this discussion.
  14. you are using per capita numbers, which are essentially useless for comparing global oil consumption.
  15. China uses nearly 4X the oil we do, how is it that they use less than us again?
  16. OK so this could have been Bran in Jon's body for a few seconds to clear the way.
  17. thank the baby cheeses, that would have been a disaster. I hope this means that he is talking to someone like Ralph Krueger and doesn't want our idiot local media to muck it up with fake news.
  18. but YVR does have full discretion over who can land there..... and Richmond does have a say in fuel pipelines. They have to work together and have. We have a constitution with both federal and provincial rights that didn't anticipate everything. Its fully within BCs rights to find out in court where it stands. That doesn't make anyone a hypocrite, just wisely learning where the edges are and how much power you have or not.
  19. I guess if we could go frame by frame and see if anyones eyes turned white for a moment we'd know for sure I don't think it was just to observe tho, he did say that he "had to go".... so that to me says that he had a job to do of some sort.
  20. I just wanted you to see what a fact looked like. Despite your very negative diatribe, people here are pushing things for the better. The facts are all there if you ever care to look. It can even be explained using STEM.
  21. B.C.’s per capita RPP consumption in 2017 was 2 578 litres (16.2 barrels), or 11% below the national average of 2 886 litres per capita. https://www.neb-one.gc.ca/nrg/ntgrtd/mrkt/nrgsstmprfls/bc-eng.html
