it certainly sounds like a Miller deal is too far apart to happen, so what I'd expect now is a Miller deal and QO for Brock. It kicks things down the road with him a bit, and they can still do something long term later in the summer or before camp when things are less busy.
meh thats no fun.
Why wouldn't they come here? this entire discussion for months has all been about unlikely theoretical stuff. I think it shows that there's more than one way to make a competitive team.
that's a good start but nowhere near other clubs. It is what it is, I just think its going to take longer than others to create a real pipeline of players we can use and also trade, because thats part of it as well.
I'm hoping the CPC membership comes to its senses and chooses Charest. No BS, I will listen and consider what he has to say, and depending on the platform I will consider vote switching. If its PP, I'll just press the mute button, I know what he is.
I actually want a strong opposition party, it would help to make some more sensible economic plans. But PP is just a whiney little hack populist and you're right, Trudeau can use this to show PP for what he is.
Brock is likely leaving everything to his agent right now, I can't image he has the brain space for thinking about his contract.
It certainly seems to me like the most likely trade we see this year is Brock if his agent is playing hardball on the QO.
yep he is but if its not in the cards we need to pivot, imo.
Can you imagine a generational player from North Van and what that would do to ticket sales? thats what they'd sell Aqua on.
not officially, but thats clearly happening with Miller and Boeser.
Its a bit disappointing, particularly the Boeser side I'd have hoped he'd be willing to be more reasonable, but I don't have any bad feelings towards the kid he has every right to go out and get the best deal he can.
But, if these two really are on the table I want us to go full tankeroo. Lets just rip the band-aid off the Benning era and shoot for Bedard.
