On Grouse Mountain you can snowshoe to an igloo, then build your own beside it. At $100 I think the price is a bit of a rip, but it's a pretty cool activity if you and him are into outdoor stuff. Unless you ski/snowboard in California I guess you wouldn't have the winter clothes for that though. 

It gets a lot colder in California than folks seem to think ahaha. We own snow boots, etc. I might actually check that out, thanks for the tip Green.

Different circumstances but does that mean we could mutually terminate Eriksson's contract in the future with no penalty? I know buyout isn't an attractive option because of his contract structure.

@Where's Wellwood thats kind of what I was wondering. Montreal didn't get a cap hit for terminating Streit's contract.... so maybe this is an option? There's 21 million in bonuses they'd have to pay him... but maybe thats best for both? I'm sure Loui wouldn't mind moving on from here.

So you're suggesting giving up 3 assets for a centre who will fill a top 6 hole for 2 or 3 years until Pettersson is ready?  I just don't see that happening in a rebuilding team.  

Benning added centres Gagner and Burmistrov this past off season.  There is also Sutter and Granlund who may fill the role.  Granted, none of these players are locks to fill a top 6 role.

Green has been playing Sutter a lot in a shut down / match up role and they are getting a lot of minutes.  Then there is always free agency if they don't think they have the right piece when Sedin retires.

Horvat been carrying him..he's a bubble top 6 player and can't play bottom 6 role. He'll be surpassed by few prospects eventually and be traded to a team which needs fillers.

i think bo and boeser need a tough winger with them that can give them more space. most lines need that. 

when pettersson and dahlin, make it to the canucks, they will need a strong defensive, preferable tough line mate.

i think that a gaudette, gadjovich, lind line, has all the elements of a good line.

I think you're onto something when saying that Green is simply doing his due diligence. If multiple games go by without any shakeup, what then? Green also professed to have watched a lot of Canuck games over the last year or years (leading to the now famous comment about their play during their meeting) so what's stopping him from implementing those changes now?

if he keeps this team winning the brightest minds in the game

Goldy doesn't come as a shock. This was the most competitive camp in a while, and there will be more cuts that frustrate people I'm sure.
