I thought he said some interesting things, the one that stood out to me was him saying we may need to part with a roster player to upgrade the d, vs losing most 1st round picks.
yup there's a sad story here. I guess he at least made it further than most, maybe he can turn that into a career yet in hockey in coaching or management.
yup, not really interested in winning the moral victory cup anymore.
Clearly we need to upgrade the defence but that shouldn't hold this group back from hitting this goal.
he's waiver exempt on a deep line up, its going to be hard for him to carve out a spot. Maybe its not the worst idea if he does start in Abby, he does need to work on his defensive game. At least we can't lose him for nothing.
So I think you're arguing Bruce plays the same systems, but expects his guys to be more aggressive? I'm thinking in particular about the change in HDCF getting better under Bruce.
Bo's extension seems as inventible as the sun coming up. He's not going anywhere. I think the only thing keeping this thread going is people still wanting to fight over Miller.
I'm hoping for something in the 6's, 8 years for him is fine too.
I just keep coming back to that PK. How could it have been that bad?
Camp should be really interesting this year, I do wonder what other tweaks BB and co want to try. If its the same and just better execution, thats fine too.
you could say this for 1/2 the league tho.
It is the small variations and differences that changed how the team went from a passive, easy to beat team to the one we saw under Bruce executing far better.
This is a pretty good review of the changes: https://www.vancouverisawesome.com/canucks-hockey/how-much-have-the-canucks-actually-improved-under-bruce-boudreau-4926557
