@canuktravella from that list the NYR just singed RHD Poink so thats likely put a Tanev trade to bed with them. I hope we don't send him to someone in our division. I think Tampa is the best fit, Hedman-Tanev would be a scary pairing. Plus I don't want him going to TO.

Gently say that he's not in the teams plans moving forward, much like Burrows and Hansen. Ask him for a list of teams he wants to be traded to. Because the team is rebuilding and it's in his best interest to choose a destination he wants. Otherwise they will leave him unprotected in the draft. 

@Ghostsof1915 This is what they should do imo, but I'm not sure ownership/management have what it takes to make a tough call like that.
