I always loved Ovechkin, returns from a big hit by nailing a Leaf, and playing great! I hate Kadri, players like him are a bunch of diving **** heads and cry babies. They are making hockey look like soccer. One more thing to add **** Sportnet (Or Sportcenter, I don't know, both same thing) all they do is praise the Leafs. Can't wait till' the Leafs get eliminated.

Look, the issue here is that the definition of a penalty keeps changing and that not only confuses everyone but it harms the integrity of the game. Letting players police themselves is not the way to run a professional contact sport, or any sport really. The league and the referees have to get together and better define what a penalty is and stick with it. I'm not saying that the play in question was overly violent, I'm just saying that we need more consistent penalty calls. Not calling penalties influences the game as much as calling too many. And, by the way, I think that Kadri should have got a penalty for diving (unsportsmanlike). I'm not saying fill the game with penalties, I don't want to see that either, I'm just saying consistent refereeing makes for a better game.
