  1. Honestly I don’t know who this is, but he looks familiar. Just didn’t want to sound like an idiot while I was debating with 73
  2. Of course, when did I say he’s sitting out.…just saying he won’t be playing center on this current team. Winger for sure.
  3. Gaudette was awful on the face off for tonight, wasn’t he? Most likely an off night. If Gauds want to play on this team rn, unfortunately he has no choice but to play wing. Not taking Petey, Bo, Suts or even Beagles spot…
  4. Sorry but the eye test was the complete opposite. This why I don’t like advanced stats like Corsi. I do agree that we should’ve given him too 6 minutes for 3 or 4 games, same goes for Goldy.
  5. It’s not Green’s fault the bottom 6 is struggling, half of them injured A healthy bottom 6 is dominant. We saw that in October. Once injuries hit our bottom 6, this team really fell apart. MacEwen hasn’t proven much, and I’m a huge advocate of bringing MacEwen to big league for good. Imo, this should be our lineup when healthy: Miller - Pettersson - Gaudette Virtanen - Horvat - Boeser Ferland - Sutter - Roussel Schaller - Beagle - Motte Virtanen, Gaud and Ferland can be moved around among each other
  6. Agree. Also, nostalgia plays a big part in my bias for Crawford
  7. I was listening to the 1st period on the radio and the guys on 650 were praising him for most of the period, saying he’s been good defensively. Came back at the start of the 2nd. Don’t even think he hit the ice during the 2nd or 3rd.
  8. Green is part of the beauty coaches as well, but the way it’s looking doesn’t seem like he’s going to last. I’ll leave it at that.
  9. Just because Schaller hasn’t been putting up points doesn’t mean he’s slowed down. Tim is still playing good hockey, nobody taking his 4th line spot. Scahller - Beagle - Motte will be our 4th line if all healthy.
  10. Who else is out there though? Do we wait it out for the remainder of the year?
  11. We need a veteran, experienced coach now. Trust me, I would take so many other coaches over Babcock. We had so many options, if I remember Gallant, Crawford, Trotz, Quenville. Should’ve picked up an experienced coach, especially after the WD firing. I don’t mind Green, but he has a ways to go.
  12. You may think he’s overrated but he’s definitely a better coach than Green…
  13. Leivo, Pearson, Goldy/Eriksson/Gravoc (probably misspelled it)
  14. It wasn’t offside, even Garrett couldn’t convince himself it was offside. At the end of the day, the TG shrug pissed me off the most. Seemed like he didn’t care at that point of the game. The game wasn’t over, still had 3 minutes left. I don’t mind Green but he has a lot of work to do. Seeing him make the same mistakes, like not calling a timeout when the other team is building up momentum is frustrating. Don’t get me wrong tho, players played a huge part in the loss as well.
  15. Flames about to fire their coach, and most likely hire Babcock in a matter of days. If there is any time to fire Green it would be like now…lol. Otherwise their really no point in firing him…
  16. Not part of the fire Green crowd, but we should’ve learned our lesson the first time we hired a rookie coach…
  17. Anyways hope the league does something about that Bo headshot.
