I still can't believe Russel got traded for Lopez. That's not a great deal for the Lakers. Players like Lopez, Howard aren't being used as much, they're great players, but lots of teams are playing small and fast now. No one goes to the big man for post as much, the game has changed. Giving up a young gun who has some potential for a 29 year old center isn't a good deal IMO. You don't see many big men get post up plays as much. For example the Warriors and small ball (They have truly changed the game of basketball). I think players like Thon Maker and Giannis are going to be the next wave of big men. Big men who are fast, athletic and can shoot the ball. Whether Lakers are drafting Ball or not, they should've kept Russel for at least one more season. This is just me though. If I was a Lakers fan I would be pissed.
