  1. Most players are going to look good playing alongside and behind Crosby and Malkin.
  2. I don’t think Miller is movable. Also his NMC is kicking in I believe soon.
  3. Not comparing the depth of our team and theirs. Comparing the superstars.
  4. Not a knock on management group just pointing out the facts. Replace Crosby, Malkin and Fleury with Horvat, Pettersson and Demko. Those moves won’t help them win the cup.
  5. When you have guys like Crosby, Malkin and Fleury it makes life way easier building a team. Penguins had the luxury of building with 2 first overalls and 2 second overalls. One of them being a generational leader and player. Life is very easy when your starting point is that
  6. Disagree. He is on very cheap ELC at nearly a PPG. Contenders would be all over that, and as someone else has stated in this thread, majority of his points are on 5on5
  7. As long as we don’t draft one of the smaller RHD’s.
  8. It’s all about taking the right steps. Whether that’s through drafting, or trades. Marino should’ve been the obvious target but we all know how that went. Kuz and Horvat should get at least late 1st’s and more. We should be all over Dragicivek and Strbak with those, two RHD’s. This team is not in win now anytime soon, look to building the future while Hughes and Pettersson are young.
  9. It depends. If we can build a strong defensive core outside of Hughes, it can work. Hughes, is still fairly young so there may be room for improvement defensively. In a couple of years, if it’s the same story, then I fully agree with you.
  10. So the Canucks have given Boeser’s agent permission to talk to other teams and help facilitate a trade? Looks like Friedman was right.…
  11. Bo and Kuz are the best trading chips and both should be moved at TDL.
  12. Ya, Horvat retained and Kuz are our best trading chips.
  13. My bad, it was the end of the season, still that sounds to me like he is going to free agency. That is still too risky for the Canucks. If they deal with Kuz the same way they’ve been dealing with Bo, it’s a wrap. Also, yes he is going to get paid as much as he can. Which player doesn’t do that. He gave a subtle hints in his interview and his money bag tweet a little unnecessary.
  14. He did an interview with Donnie and Dhali on YouTube. He is also Evander Lane’s agent
  15. There will be no discount, he will get paid as much as he can and it won’t be until the off-season says his agent. Too risky to go in the off-season with Kuz as a UFA Kuz and a retained Bo, would have like 10-15 teams bidding.
