Unfortunately that is the development camp roster not the Young Stars roster. There are at least 21 players from that camp that won't be in Penticton including Lekkermaki, McDonough, and Jacob Truscott. Almost all the NCAA guys and European players will not be there.

Sometimes it feels like the Canucks have been turning the other cheek ever since the Bertuzzi/Moore incident. I know that's an exaggeration and we have had some tough SOBs like Bieksa, Kesler etc. But sometimes I feel like the spectre of that incident still hovers over this team...but I do have hope that JTM, Schenn, and even Tyler Myers can help change the passiveness that has afflicted this team. Go Canucks! Can't wait for the season to get started!!!

Personally I see bringing DeKeyser in on PTO as a definite sign of progress on behalf of Canucks management, Benning probably would have signed him to a 3 year 4 million per contract and hoped he would be old Danny...

Plasek was largely invisible before an injury ended his season...kid played 8 games and if I recall correctly didn't get a lot of ice time. Maybe Wagner shouldn't be so quick to judge...

So basically Columbus has lost Oliver Bjorkstand and now have to look forward to 4 years of Erik Gudbranson on defense - but hey they did get Johnny 'I don't do playoffs' Hockey to sign, two things I wonder about in all this are #1 did Johnny G insist on his bodyguard coming with him (Like Gretzky and McSorley) and #2 is Sutter too much of a hard ass for the American superstars??

According to CapFriendly its 840k if he's in the NHL and 70k in the minors...maybe his agent thinks he will be traded to a team that keeps him as a backup??

Hey I get it. But for all Rutherford and to a lesser extent Allvin’s talk about needing a retool it’s pretty underwhelming. People have been complaining about losing players for nothing (UFAs) it’s kind frustrating to not see something from the new management team that was brought in to ‘FIX’ Benning’s mess...

If all Rutherford and Allvin do is substitute Dermott for Hamonic and add Richardson on waivers then this will be a Benning level trade deadline....are they over valuing the players and asking for too much??
