    Kassian starting to show what he is capable of - Happy the guy has turned his life around and is taking advantage of his opportunity. Feel good story - too bad it wasn't with us!

      I really liked Kassian's game when he was in Vancouver but I agree, he is an absolute beast in the playoffs for Edmonton. Watching him play I can't help but think "I'd love to see Jake Virtanen play this well". Such a bummer we traded him and a 5th for Prust as he is the exactly the kind of player we need in our middle six.

      This is why all those giving up on Virtanen are insane.   Guys of size, speed and skill don't come along often but they take longer to develop on all fronts including maturity it seems.   

       

      Virtanen has a much higher ceiling than Kassian so if you like what you are seeing tonight from Kass, imagine that plus more speed in two or three more years.
