mukhamdullin was selected 20th overall in the 2020 draft. Based on the fact that he was a first round selection I would label him as a Grade A prospect rather than a solid prospect. What's the reason for not being with the Big Team? He 's a defensive prospect which still needs time to develop properly. He's playing pro hockey against quality opposition in KHL.

a force in transition - oustanding reading the play. Sounds great. One last comment from my side: watched Seider live during his draft year in Germany and I still think that Seider's defensively slightly better than Reinbacher and plays the game more physical than Reinbacher. Well I will post again in this thread on draft day. Stock Rising David Reinbacher, D, EHC Kloten (2023 NHL Draft) When the season first started, I viewed David Reinbacher as someone who would make for a reasonable selection in the second round of this year's draft with a chance to maybe sneak his way into the first. Now, it's clear that he's a first-round talent. Reinbacher made sure of it, playing among his best hockey at this year's World Juniors with all of the scouting world watching. He's carried that strong play over into Switzerland's top men's league; the Austrian defenceman has seven points in his last 10 games, all of them assists. Reinbacher is a force in transition, active in all three zones, and proficient at generating defensive stops. He's a powerful, agile skater, but where he stands out for me is his commitment and ability to read the play and then react as a quality defensive defenseman. He's playing massive minutes as a first-time draft-eligible skater in Switzerland's top men's league.

Reinbacher with his third goal this season which tied the game against SC Bern on Sunday. In the end his team won the home game against Bern 3:2. Important win to qualify for the pre-playoff round. Just to put Reinbachers numbers in perspective: Reinbacher 39 GP, 20 Points Roman Josi 42 GP, 24 Points In addition his team is new to the league. The team played in the second tier league in Switzerland and was promoted to the top league. The team's roster is one of the weakest in the league. Nevertheless they managed to be in the middle of the pack in terms of the rankings.

[GDT] Canucks @ Devils 4:30 pm Monday, Feb. 6/23

tank for David Reinbacher - Thanks! d -
perfect platform for Reinbacher to showcase his skills on the international level. Reminds me of Seider couple years ago, when he had a hell of a tournament and became a top10 pick. I can see a similar scenario for Reinbacher. Currently he's listed in the middle of the pack in the first round. Pretty sure that he takes advantage of the opportunity to play at the worlds. At the end of the day I will laugh at you when he goes Top10. Do you remember the discussion we had couple years ago when I was the only user here saying that taking Seider at 10th overall isn't a stretch?

Only based on this video sequence Reinbacher's skating is pretty good, enough speed in the cycling game to create separation. In addition good puck control during his move and the won puck battle at the end of the sequence together with ability to see the teammate in the slot. Going forward there's a good chance that will put the same amount of points as Roman Josi at the same age give or take. I assume that Austria's headcoach will select Reinbacher for the World's in May 2023 (in Tampere, Finland and Riga). I am pretty sure that he will climb in the draft rankings after he delivers a great performance at the World's for Austria in May 2023.

Just found out that Reinbacher plays on the first pairing on his team, EHC Kloten, Switzerland. In today's game against HC Lugano he will meet the former Canuck Markus Granlund on the ice who plays on the top-line for Lugano. .

Räty is really an interesting player. How is it possible to slip from the consensus No1 overall to the second round of a draft? Well, the offensive production wasn't there in his draft year and that was probably the main reason why many scouts soured on him. Couple of scouts said that he can't score, that his skating is only average and questioned even his Hockey IQ. in his draft +1 year he bounced back and was almost a point per game producer in a men's league. Quite a rollercoaster ride for him in terms of offensive production. He has great hands without a doubt and the frame to become a 2C down the road. Regarding the average skating I would like to point out that Draisaitl was labelled as average skater when he played juniors. Average skating didn't hinder him to become one of the best players in this league. I have some concerns when it comes to his complete level. To me it looks like that he's not fully involved in the game when he's on the ice. In order to win puck battles you have to give 100% otherwise you're gonna lose out on it. Pretty sure that he will become a middle 6 player. Not quite sure if he reaches his full potential and become a bonafide 2C.

[Rumour] Nikita Tryamkin eyeing NHL return
Wolfgang Durst replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Don't let the emotions gain the upper hand over you. -
interesting that 10 scouts from six NHL teams made all the way to switzerland to see David Reinbacher (RHD) play. To be more specific we talk about the Vancouver Canucks. Boston Bruins, Washington Capitals, Columbus Blue Jackets, Winnipeg Jets and Ottawa Senators. For Ottawa Trent Mann, Assistent of the General Manager was in Langnau, a small town with less than 10,000 residents and Steve Bowman represented the Washington Capitals. Report is saying that Reinbacher is drawing a lot of interest from NHL teams, because he plays in all situations against men in his draft year. Switzerland's NLA league is one of the best leagues in Europe. In my opinion only the swedish SHL, the finnish Liiga are ahead of the quality of hockey (faster hockey with more skill). Debatable if the German DEL is better than the swiss NLA - I see both leagues on the same level.

"erase the past" is easier said that done. In an interview Jim Rutherford let all the fans know that this franchise is stuck with contracts. Canucks tried hard to move out some contracts but realized in the end that market does not allow them to do so. again: How do you get rid of the OEL contract? How do you move out a contract like Myers? Is there any interest from other teams in Connor Garland? First of all you have to identify the problems ? What are the problems? 1. the impatient owner that wants to play VP of hockey ops by hiring a headcoach? 2. the mentally fragile and soft team 3. the inept player development department 4. Allvin & Rutherford making it a priority to add young players to the team instead of making character a priority ? This is going to take years to get out of this mess.

respect your opinion, of course. Let me ask you one question? Have you ever had the opportunity/time to listen to an interview with Patrick Allvin or Jim Rutherford?

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
Wolfgang Durst replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
couple of reasons why Detroit is a good trading partner for Horvat: 1. they have one of the best prospects pools in the entire league with Kasper (C), Edvinsson (LHD) which means they have the assets for a hockey trade of this magnitude 2. they have tons of cap space and therefore are able to re-sign Horvat 3. they need a 1C / 2C to become a playoff team, finally - Stevie is well aware of the fact that a 1C/2C is the missing puzzle to complete the rebuild 4. Canucks probably would like to have Hronek (RHD) to come back the other way -
Donnie & Dhali have Shane Malloy on the show shortly before draft day every f**king year. What is Shane Malloy telling the audience every f**king year? He is telling us that a Top 4 Defenseman is way more valuable than a top 6 winger. Especially when you're a team like the Canucks lacking prospects on the blueline you don't think twice but take the Defenseman ahead of the winger any time. Pickering or Bichsel would have been the logical choice but hey somehow our superb management team decided to go with the winger. Let me ask you one question: Is it easier to get a top 6 forward in free agency or via trade or a top 4 D-Man? You are long enough around to know the answer.
-
Steamer is one of the guys to blame for this f**king mess. I remember Steamer sitting next to Aquillini after Jim Benning was fired and Aquillini promising fans "to get this right". Steamer should have used all his influence to prevent Aquillini from hiring a coach (Bruce) which is not Aquillinis responsibility! Steamer should have told Aquillini that first thing is to get a new VP hockey ops on board. Anyway this franchise will be irrelevant for a very long time.

as much ownership and front office is blamed by many user here on CDC as much you can blame Boudreau for the product on the ice. The truth after 46 games into the season is, that Bruce hasn' t found solutions for various problems within the team. More than disappoinnting that he couldn't get the team to play the right way. When you look at the stats of most of the games Canucks blocked less shots than the opposition. That metric tells you that the effort wasn't there from the team most of the nights. Hell, you can take the position that Yeo was and still is responsible for the defenseman, but hey Bruce could find a way to strike the right balance between the offensive game and defensive game. Would have preferred that Canucks ride this season out with Bruce and finished at the very bottom of the league to get a top5 draft pick. But hey this managemant group seems to be something special.

[PGT] Winnipeg Jets at Vancouver Canucks | Dec. 17, 2022
Wolfgang Durst replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Canucks Talk
Patrik Allvin very proud of bringing in some young players. Sounds like the age of players is the most important criteria in building a playoff team. Who cares about character and attitude. Youth is way more important than character in Patrik's world. Best thing is that Bruce is talking about making the playoffs with this characterless bunch of losers. Time for a reality check. How many unacceptable performances do you need Bruce to realize that this team is a bunch of losers? -
[PGT] Minnesota Wild at Vancouver Canucks | Dec. 10, 2022
Wolfgang Durst replied to -Vintage Canuck-'s topic in Canucks Talk
Myers pass right on the tape of the wild player shortly before the Wild's third goal is just another example that he's not good enough. No pressure on Myers at all. He had all the time in the world to make a accurate pass along the boards to get the puck not only out of the own zone but to initiate a great breakout. Hundreds of NHL games under his belt and still not able to make an accurate pass to a teammate. Those that argue that Myers is valuable for the team because he's playing big minutes should pay more attention to Myers game in the own zone (man coverage, breakout passes, defending the rush). Myers play on the ice is undoubtedly part of the problem. -

HDCF Vancouver 12 HDCF Minnesota 14 High danger chances almost identical, difference obviously was the efficiency in front of the net and the goaltending, of course. -

How can you extend a player like Boeser for this money? Jim Rutherford and Patrick Allvin and Cammie and Emilie had enough time to watch the slow moving Boeser play on the ice. They should have noticed that the NHL is a speed game and the top forwards create space and time with their agility and skating. It was a poor management decision to extend Boeser, no doubt about it. In addition to his slow skating he isn't generating much offense and is questionable defensively. Had way too much puck turnovers in the own end. He shines only when playing on the PP and once in a while when he gets set up by Bo or Petey. So many additions to the front office with Cammie and Emilie but still awful decisions made. This org is doomed to fail. No hope at all that they turn the ship around.

aussies making it to the next round is definitely a surprise but they deserve it with their play so far. Was a tight game against Denmark but Leckie with the lucky punch. It's a little bit off topic but as a passionate All Blacks fan I love the rivalry between the aussies and the new zealanders. Unfortunately the aussies weren't a match for the all blacks this year and the games weren't as thrilling as previous matches several years ago.

you're right lots of rotation on the french side. It was basically their B-Team that lost the game against Tunesia.

The Everything Bitcoin Thread

couldn't agree more with your statements. Crazy thing is even crypto experts with hundreds of thousand follower on youtube got caught by the FTX scandal. They have 7 figured amounts sitting on the FTX exchange and they can't access it. That's quite surprising that even those freaks had to learn their lesson the hard way : NOT YOUR KEYS NOT YOUR COINS. First thing I did when i invested in crypto I bought a cold wallet Nano Ledger and once I bought coins I immediately transferred it to my Ledger Nano in order to keep the coins safe. Losing money hurts no doubt about it, but as someone with quite some life experience I can tell you that losing money is nothing that should break your heart. Just suck it and then move on - best thing you can do is move forward and look forward.
