  1. Wow leaving 10M on the table to retire. Stronger man than I...
  2. Dallas releases: Alexey Fatullaev Igor Ionov
  3. Dallas awards: 2032-33 MVP: Jimmy 2032-33 Leading Scorer: Jimmy 2032-33 Most Goals: Jimmy 2032-33 Best Defenseman: Mark Regula 2032-33 Best Goaltender: Alexandr Pugin 2032-33 Top Rookie: Lance Widmar 2032-33 Unsung Hero: Aiden Horton
  4. Dallas accepts: Olavi Pesonen - 5 years Shawn Gielly - 2 years Mike Girard - 2 years
  5. At the start of the year it appeared tough to find a place (Although I still feel he would have already forced himself into the lineup anyways) for him to play. If it still works out for him to come over part way through the year I could see the following group end the year if we are out of playoff contention: Edler Schmidt Hughes Tryamkin Joulevi Myers Chatfield Benn traded for a late round pick Hamonic traded for a mid round pick It would give us three pairings that we could distribute the minutes out if needed.
  6. Calgary Flames claim Michael Frolik -Because I originally waived Frolik (and he hasn’t played) I would assume my claim would send him to my AHL team? If not I still place a claim and would send down Sami Niku) @Nail
  7. That would potentially be a win-win. Pretty obvious how Van wins here as is gives us the cap flexibility immediately and we have someone to play 3C this year. For Ottawa they take on two years of cap (Not dollars as the actual money is less) and get a wild card prospect for free which is right in their age group wheelhouse. This is almost a perfect fit and I would do the deal if I was on either side to be honest.
  8. Calgary terminates the contract of Mikko Koivu after retiring today : https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/article/long-time-wild-captain-mikko-koviu-retires-16-nhl-seasons/ @Nail
  9. So how does this work if they fire the coaching staff? No coaches for 14 days while the new ones quarantine? Maybe they are already fired........
  10. Might seem a bit counter-intuitive, however I wouldn't make that deal from the Vancouver side. The liability of Karlsson could be one of the biggest in the game if he doesn't come back to elite status.
  11. Congrats to Petr Folin (4 points), Lance Widmar (5 points), Shawn Gielly (3 points) and Wells Taylor (1 W .930Sv%) on their epic NHL starts! Looking like some solid careers in the making.
  12. Backfire!! These were AHL legends for the Texas Stars and now they are looking for jobs at local arenas.
  13. Some big changes in Dallas. Roster to start the year: Wahlstrom - Hischier - McGill Widmar - Horton - Puljujarvi Tolvanen - Ristimaki - Kylmala Fatullaev - Kotkaniemi – Gielly Robertson – Folin Regula - Eggert Pesonen - Kabashi Pugin Taylor
  14. Dallas places a claim on Alexey Fatullaev
  15. Hopefully the start of an amazing career and the key part of the Dallas re-tool.
  16. Well deserved retirement for the Dallas legend (Even though we traded him away)
  17. If we did the 1-1 swap I would like to see Bennett replace Pearson on the second line: Miller Pettersson Hoglander Bennett Horvat Boeser Pearson Gaudette MacEwen
  18. Interesting discussion with the value of Pool Party, Jake and Bennett. They are all around the same value in my mind. If they were traded for picks, I would imagine they would all be in the 2nd round pick territory returning, meaning that they hold similar value. Of that group of projects, my preference would be Pool Party due to offensive upside, but I think we are at the point where a swap of Jake for either of those guys make sense. Change of scenery deals are needed for them all.
  19. Dallas recalls Lance Widmar and Petr Folin
  20. Dallas releases to FA: Aleksander Barkov Sebastien Aho Seth Jones Roope Hintz
  21. Dallas Accepts: Henri Kylmala x 2 Fredrik Eggert x 2 Release: Philip Dawson (Was already purged)
