  1. Dallas purges: Dmitry Panov Matthew Kuhn Jean-Christophe Seabrook and sends one lost soldier to UFA: Isaac Ratcliffe
  2. Congrats to Pugin on the Vezina and huge congrats to McGill on the Calder, Conn Smythe and Masterson. Battling some personal demons, he was able to channel that to be an unstoppable force in the league this year. He's a new franchise cornerstone in Dallas. Congrats to Ehlers, Pugin, Regula and Hischier for their RU considerations. Was a year for the ages in Dallas.
  3. Igor bolting from the KHL right to Texas. Pugin can help him with the culture shock.... Welcome Igor!
  4. We would like to congratulate Phil Kessel and Claude Giroux on the cup but will release them to FA or potentially retirement. Congrats guys! Dallas releases: Phil Kessel Claude Giroux
  5. Well, it's been a long journey to get here, but the Stars have finally won the cup. I want to thank @Bombastik der Teutone and all of the other GMs for their great series matchups as it was a very difficult road to the cup. Last year the team finally made that large push forward and made it past the first round before ultimately falling to the Ducks. This year there was a renewed sense of interest with the young core of Hischier, Ehlers, Regula, Byram, Pugin that something big could happen, but that the roster needed a few key adds. Giroux (through FA), O'Reilly (through early season trade) and Pietrangelo (at the trade deadline) were just what the doctor ordered. They added to a solid veteran presence which was anchored already by Klingberg, Kessel, Zibanejad and Skinner to form the recipe needed to make a run. This turned out to be the right moves to take us to the top. While all of that was great, what more could be said about rookie phenom Jimmy. Jimmy knows hockey, Jimmy's got mad skills and Jimmy knows winning it turns out! Jimmy took the world by storm with his playoff performance and time will tell if there are other steps he can still take. Heading into the offseason, there are many questions in Dallas. Are the rest of the young guys ready to take over as some of the vets likely move on or retire? Time will tell, but this young core is ready to try and compete for a few more years.
  6. I made changes this year just for our matchup. Almost time to see if it worked or not!
  7. Thanks to @Master Mind for the great series. Calgary shut down my top forwards but the fourth line came up big. Looking forward to the upcoming series with St Louis. Need Nico and Nik to be ready to play.
  8. Dallas is poised to go on a deep run with filling one outstanding gap at the trade deadline (Pietrangelo), however the first round may be the toughest in getting past Calgary. Hopefully the “Jimmy” is ready for this.
  9. Dallas stars awards: 2025-26 MVP - Nico Hischier 2025-26 Leading Scorer - Nik Ehlers 2025-26 Best Defenseman - Mark Regula 2025-26 Best Goaltender - Alexandr Pugin 2025-26 Top Rookie - Jimmy McGill 2025-26 Unsung Hero - Mika Zibanejad Dallas had a regular season for the ages but this year it’s all about the playoffs. We improved several key areas since last year and are ready to make a deep run. Hopefully the first round jinx of yesteryear stays behind us.
