  1. PP looks so good. I donno if it's coz Chicago PKers are all standing around with zero pressure or if it's coz our PP was actually good.
  2. Awesome ceremony. I feel fortunate to be able to have had witnessed their entire careers.
  3. Trevor Linden giving Judd Brackett credit for the scouting job.
  4. Hank was such a gangsta in that interview. "To stop people coming after u, u just gotta score on those powerplays. Then they would stop coming after u because they realize they can't afford to be on the PK." Not the exact quote but ya.
  5. Not at all. If he fought because he couldnt take some chirps from the Turtle, that would be a horrendous timing and ur point is valid. But situation changes perspectives. EP40 was playing hurt. Flames knew that. Turtle would love to pounce on that. That faceoffs, the Turtle lined up against EP40. Wasn't caught on camera but who knows what was being said/ done there. Miller was sending a message to both the Nux and the Turtle to stay off his linemate. That is the reason why I think the fight wasn't so bad despite terrible timing. Green called out to the team and he wanted to respond. I would be a lot more mad if Turtle was taking runs at EP40 that shift after our early goal. Flames had less to lose that game than us. We scored a goal like that early. Nothing holds Turtle back from targeting EP40.
  6. Turtle was gonna take a run at EP40. If things were said of that sort, I don't blame Miller dropping em. Sure it was a bad time but under such circumstances, gotta protect our boy.
  7. AHL to NHL is a big jump. Not even some of the best AHLers dont cut it at the NHL level. And as u said it, this was an important intradivisional game. I wouldnt be against taking my chances with proven NHLers rather than with newly introduced AHLers who prolly havent practiced with the team that much. Last game I watched, I liked how Big Mac had good energy and willingness. But it was hard not to notice him play out of position and be behind plays. He's far from his ceiling yet and u dont learn at the NHL level unless u play NHL games. But like I said, I wouldnt be against not taking a risk on him nor Bailey for this intradivisional game.
  8. That I absolutely agree. But it's also JB's job too to bring in reinforcements.
  9. Like I have been posting, we are missing pieces. JB should be making calls. I wanted Big Mac to play tonight but I was not against having him sit neither. As u said tonight was divisional game with potential 4 point upswing. I wasn't against sitting Big Mac and Bailey tonight. I dont support it but I understand why it had been done. Next game tho, I will expect some shuffle. Not by choice as Boes is out anyways. Maybe EP40 too.
  10. And who knows what he has actually been saying in the dressing room this season? And what did u understand from his rant after the Boston game? I would never be so confident about something that I dont know well at all.
  11. U said it best. And u think it was a good idea to dress 2 AHLers into our lineup for the game such importance? I am glad u're not involved in any legal way with Canucks management.
  12. Would he have fought if it wasn't Miller? Nope. If he's out on the faceoffs and giving EP40 shots, what would Miller do? I think he did what he had to do.
  13. In minor hockey, sure coaches offer help in shaping players' character. But beyond that, babysitting stops. It's expected of the players. Our problem is lack of the right pieces. It's not talking the right things.
  14. I think u meant to say Vancouver Canucks. I dont see Green out there avoiding physical plays. It's baffling how some of these fans are so deluded. Coaches don't tell any player to play soft or not bother finishing checks. They don't do that in Bantam, Juniors, AHL, NHL, any league. Players have an option to play the way they want and if they dont play upto the standards, they dont make it to the next level. Obviously we have skilled guys that can play their way into the lineup without having to fight or throw big hits. But we kinda do need to check all those boxes in order to get to the next level. Talents alone in that locker room isn't enough to win us respect.
