  1. lol.. Svech tries his own no-angle shot. Too bad he doesnt got the skills EP40 does.
  2. I don't think he's saying that MDP has higher NHL upside than Demmer. I think he's saying that during this expansion draft, it will cost us a lot to ask Seattle to not take Demmer... (whether it be our high draft picks/ prospects) Realistically, we have to look at all options available. If things don't go as planned and Seattle is determined to take Demmer, MDP is our "insurance".
  3. I don't think the players care at all. Rather EP40 gets focussed heavily already. And this might be sneakily efficient in taking some pressure/ focus off of EP40's line. Teams will still key in on him. But still this kind of roster sheet alarms them about Bo's line. And that line can't be handled lightly. Been pretty good lately. So I am not against this idea. Then there is our 3rd line with a lot of offensive potential. I think Green also has that option starting to pull through so we could get 3 lines going. That would be ideal going into the latter part of the season. Whatever it takes to win games I guess haha. Just my two cents.
  4. Isles looked like a good team. And so did we. Stuck with them right thru. And we play the game the right way. Nice game.
  5. That goal was mostly 3rd line's work haha. Great goal. Hope Schaller builds some confidence with this.
  6. Wow. 3rd line clicking.. Maybe JV should stay with them...
  7. It's hard to give these inexperienced young refs a break when they constantly blow the whistle a second or two too late. Once or twice, I get it. But they are so persistent.
  8. After all that hand injuries blocking shots, Beagle still makes the same blocking pose. What a warrior.
  9. Hope they lock up Judd Brackett. Seems like he's played a crucial role in Nux scouting for the last few years. We consistently had awesome drafts in the last few years.
  10. Pretty rough game for Schaller. Being out of the lineup for long seems to have affected him a lot. Tanev is also taking a lot of hits for Huggy. It's good to see him tank those but also concerning whether it will affect him towards the later part of the season.
  11. I thought the same thing. His left shoulder got tangled with EK and they just went into the boards like that. I also think Beagle may take a few off too. Not sure if they did an imaging on his arm. Tough break for Motte. He was starting to take some shifts up in Bo's line a bit. He's been shooting a lot more and looked like he was taking his game to the next level.
  12. Shots on goals were misleading. Sharks just threw everything at the net. Most of them were low quality shots. Good way to start this road trip. Hope Motte is ok.
  13. That was a retaliatory play. Motte embarrassed him with a couple of short handed pick offs.
  14. By the way, Beagle had a great game. He was throwing his body in front of those shots. I remember one occasion where he blocked one with the back side of his torso, got stung, stayed in, blocked another right on the same shift. PK was on point, too. One of the best PK performance Ive seen in awhile. He earned those NHL minutes. And I rather have him do his thing out there than have our young star forwards blocking shots out there. Also with our current roster log jam in the bottom 6, I think Beagle did the absolute noble thing sacrificing his body like that knowing there are players that could jump in, should he ever get injured. Both his action and his attitude were admirable. True veteran leadership and he set a pretty good example out there. He was well rested during the ASG break and I think Green was smart to deploy him the minutes he ended up getting.
  15. I am no longer nervous about leading by a goal in the 3rd. Thank you EN Specialists!
