Excuse my negligence but I was very dissatisfied with picking 11 and didn't pay any attention to the prospects this year. Now that the day has come, it's sucked me back in... So who are they taking? The team has holes everywhere and can improve in alot of areas, but speed and physicality with skill mixed in has got be at the top of the list. Dman or centre, I'm not picky, both need to improve drastically.

I'm convinced the jays hitting coach does absolutely nothing. They've had issues with outside off speed pitches forever, they refuse to slap hits to the opposite field until it's the 9th inning. They get hot for two weeks and then go ice cold for two weeks. I understand it's a streaky sport, but make some adjustments to try and score some runs that aren't because of home runs. Painful to watch when it's must win against a rival in the wild card and also division race.

Do the Jays need to make a change with the coaching? Mostly the hitting coach. Don't seem to have a good approach and certainly are not hitting well this year.

Sorry I haven't followed Abby closely, is that woo playing wing? Am I missing something? Has he played there regularly?

This teams inability to beat bad teams will ultimately what crushes the playoff hopes. Cant give away points to the Ottawa's, Detroit's, Buffalo's, Chicago's. The only bad team I recall the nucks taking care of was Arizona. Must win out now and get help, it's not impossible... Just made it a little more difficult tonight.

Very poor player usage. Why is dries out there in ot, and not podz. Why is petan in the shootout lineup. Gave away a point they desperately needed and frankly, should have easily secured. It's Ottawa...

I missed the first, good effort in the second, really needed one before it was over. Terrible start to the third but good bounce back. Powerplay far too often let's them down in important moments, that was the case tonight. Also, Miller drives me nuts, he can have such a poor attitude and not care at all, a little more effort and maybe they don't get the third, and definitely not the empty netter after his brutal giveaway and floating back. Playoffs are a very very slim chance now, but I hope they play good hockey the rest of the way. See some auditions hopefully.

You're saying he didn't completely lose his man and then over commit because he was chasing the play? Looking for a breakaway pass when they never even touched the puck.

Bo should never be on the ice on 3-3 or to start a game/period. How hard is it to play man on man coverage when it's 3-3... Absolutely lost out there.

So why is he standing flat footed and not supporting Myers being triple teamed and then not sharing at all when the flames got possession?

This is the approach I see being most realistic. I see motte being traded because he's a UFA and you can't lose guys for nothing. But since BB took over, this team is a top 10 team in the league. I see them giving the team a chance, outside of motte, and having a busy summer.

How long till podz and hog are swapped and that third line gets 0 minutes the rest of the night?

I hope Bruce keeps the 4th line together the whole game. You're not going to create offense on other lines with any of those guys and you're messing up your most consistent line. Leave it alone. My only real complaint with him so far, gets the blender going every night it seems.

I love the 4th line and they've been our best line a lot. But why on earth are they out in a 2-1 game with under 2 minutes to go? And hunt? Why is he on the ice at all let alone when we need a goal

Too many guys are too afraid of contact. Never get to the net, always shy away on the boards. Boeser is the worst for it, Hughes is bad as well. Sometimes you gotta take a hit to make a play. Boes needs to get involved and then he might be able to find a quiet area and he needs to just let it rip when he gets a chance.

I do think it's a super dangerous play to cross check a guy in the lower back when a guy is teeing up a point shot, I was amazed more guys didn't eat slapshots. So I agree with a crackdown, but like you said, the refs are killing the intent of the rule and I feel everyone just embellishes everything now and seems like the longer you lay on the ice the more likely they'll just make a call. I absolutely hate it. Example is Matthews cross check today. Imagine doing that to Kuznetsov or McDavid? They'd still be flopping around on the ice.

Not one to blame officiating, but this cross check crackdown has been a disaster all year. So inconsistent, and really only seems to be called in front of the net. Schenn gets called for pushing a guy, they actually cross check Miller but it's in the neutral zone so it's not called? It's very confusing and seems like even the refs don't get it.

Going to be a real tough hill to climb getting three on vasi, especially if they don't make it hard on him. Gotta show some want in the next 40. Get desperate, win some battles and crash the damn net. You won't beat that goalie with shots he can see. Simple as that.

Watched the game last night against the coilers, could have been a very different game if Tampa could hit the net. Several high danger chances they missed the not on. Need to watch for the quick plays to the slot area, they pulled it off alot against Edmonton. Hopefully we jump on them early, force them to take penalties with good pressure and get a couple past vasi. Team will be tired but he has the ability to win it for them. Boys need to be pedal down for a full 60.

How do you block or turn off notifications from certain posters who are very repetitive and annoying?

This team seems to have extremely low IQ sometimes. Why are Hughes and Miller trying to force a play along the boards when it's 3-3 ot. Throw it back to Demko before you give it away. The turnovers and the hesitation in the d zone would speak to that as well. They played an outstanding 10 minutes to start the third though and happy they got a point, the first 40 didn't look promising.

I'd like to see some hard work and greasy goals in the third. Love to see someone stand in front of their goalie and maybe get a deflection or a rebound. Brutal effort level so far.

Who do the Canucks like on Pittsburgh? I get to catch some of the pens knights game and wouldn't mind paying attention to a few names.
