To be fair, some guys do become firtness/nutrition freaks later in their careers... Jagr comes to mind. Not sure if Chara always was this dedicated to fitness and dieting or if it's become more recent due to his age and still wanting to play in the nhl being the driving force behind it.

He is strong, like bull. Hair like young Stalin. Premier draft pick by Mr. Benning.

I agree.. However the headline is just thescore trying to stir the pot and make Quinn look more cocky than he actually is. Hughes full comment was that in the last 30 games there hasn't been any rookie better.

Oh I've accepted that loui sucked, continues to suck and will suck for the rest of his career... I'm just not willing to lower the standard so low that if he simply puts up 0s across the board and is a minus player that all of a sudden I'm going to say he's "very good". He's slow, doesnt provide any grit, waste of roster space. If he wasn't making 6 mill.. He would of been buried in the minors a long time ago. He isn't playing here because there's no one to replace him, he's only been gifted a spot because management doesn't want their 6 million dollar man playing in the ahl. -

When he was on the 3rd or 4th line he was also putting up zeros across the board. He's paid 6million to score goals. He's playing on a top line to produce goals not play exclusively as a shutdown line...even so he's -6 in the the last 13 games. I wouldn't call that very good. He's a washed up bum -

According to @VancouverHabitant he's been playing "very good" -
This means nothing btw.. Looking at the Toronto Raptors last season.. Masai Ujiri fired his coach who won coach of the year that season, hired nick nurse and won the ring. Green will be gone next season barring a strong playoff push which I don't see happening the way this team has been playing and without marky hiding our deficiencies

Bailey will probably just watch the game. Green would prefer to double shift Erikson before giving anyone a legitimate shot.

Where did I say today's loss was because of loui? I agree demko was most to blame for yet another game where he let's in inexcusable weak goals. I was responding to the ludicrous comment that loui has "been very good for the last 30 games". That's an absolute joke. It seems the standard has been lowered so much for loui that some fans are looking for any reason to give him credit, but the stats don't lie.. He's playing top 6 minutes and isn't producing anything. He's completely washed and needs to get off of this team asap. -

You have to be kidding... Loui Erikson has been absolute trash. He had one good spurt of a few games last month which got him his position on the line with Horvat and Pearson but his play has died for a while now.. He's back to being the same useless plug hes always been as a canuck. Last 13 games in the month of February... 1g1a 2pts -6 while playing top 6 minutes. Hes awful and taking up roster space -

Wish green would try some lines that actually make sense.. Jake is playing well tonight, throw him on the line with Petey and Miller for more than one shift. Move toffoli to horvats line and reunite him with bff Pearson. Enough of Erikson in the top 6. Insanity.
