  2. We had to sign Rathbone. No choice. He is just better than Tryamkin. I think we should trade Tryamkin's rights because I think he hits the open market if he can next year. I don't think he will give us preference. That's fair. We didn't give him preference, either.
  3. Benning made that clear to reporters in a conference call on Monday after speculation on Vancouver's TSN Radio 1040 last week that the team was exploring the possibility of trading the 23-year-old forward. "We've been happy with him since we drafted him," Benning said. "I don't know where this stuff comes from. I have no intention of trading Brock Boeser." Boeser spoke to Benning about the rumours and was reassured, according to TSN's Farhan Lalji.
  4. Boeser is the real deal. I wouldn't trade him unless it was complete robbery in our favor. I'd want an established top 6, a D prospect and a pick for him. And don't give me any of the "Dobson has equal value" crap. A guy like Makar has more equal value.
  5. Brock is great now, he is only going to get better and the team does so much better with him in the lineup. Teams just don't trade guys like this unless the return is just incredible. And they never trade them for cap relief. If there is merit to the rumor, I would say there is a team out there that wants Boeser badly.
  6. I am pretty loathe to trade Boeser so I'll say the only way is Jack Hughes, a prospect and a pick for Boeser. In other words, it would be pretty impossible for me to trade him.
  7. With over 500 companies having now joined the advertising boycott of Facebook called for by top civil rights groups, some investors are concerned about the company’s lost revenue—but most Wall Street firms estimate that Facebook is still looking at less than a 5% hit to overall revenue.
  8. So that means they earned over 100 billion from advertising? LOL. Funny stuff.
  9. Its not like facebook cares or anything. They make so much money that taking a loss on advertising income helps them make even more money come income tax time.
  10. My opinion is always play to win, especially with a random lottery. The picks will take care of themselves.
  11. Mr. Wayne would probably be locked up if he was alive today. Hahaha.
  12. I think he will do well in the KHL. Best of luck, Nickolay.
  13. Whoever shows up to camp out of shape gets to sit. If its Petey only sit him for 3 minutes. He can do more as a fat slob than a herculean Louie can.
  14. I like your lineup better than what you predict Green will put out there. Can we sit Rousell, put Virt on third line LW, Big Mac on fourth line RW, and Sutter on third line RW? Miller-Petey-Boeser Pearson-Horvat-Toffoli Virtanen-Gaudette-Sutter Motte-Beagle-MacEwen

  16. Not surprised. It was over for Goldy when we got Lievo and Pearson. Good luck in Russia, bud!
  17. So close, but I think Makar takes it. I think playing in the NHL playoffs last year really did him a lot of good. That being said - these two are the best 2 young defencemen to enter the league at pretty much the same time in a very, very long time.
  18. I can see this being a very real possibility. One or two compliance buyouts per team so they can get under the cap. Hey, Louie! LOL https://www.prohockeyrumors.com/2020/03/could-coronavirus-lead-to-the-return-of-compliance-buyouts.html
  19. Just what we need - A LW/Center with decent size/speed that can put up some points and run the PK. Even if he doesn't pan out at the NHL level, he will fit right in with Utica.
  20. The Canucks seem to apply good pressure on the forecheck in the offensive zone, but in the defensive zone they don't check nearly as hard. Maybe if the Canucks could pressure the puck more in the defensive zone, the opposition wouldn't have as much time or space.
