I'm not panicking. I'll update this after the game. -

See? Any team can lose to a team like that. -
I don't think trading Gaud is in the cards. It was going to be him or Madden centering the third line, and with the TT trade, I think Gaud is here to stay for now.

I've been really interested in Makar lately so I've watched quite a few Colorado games. No, doubt - Makar is good; really good, but Hughes is better. Makar is fast, very good positionally, has a great shot and passes well. Hughes has all that while using the whole ice and maintaining puck control. Makar does not control the game or drive play like Hughes does. I wouldn't trade Hughes for Makar straight up. No way.

I still cant believe we got him for a bench warmer, a prospect, and a 2nd round pick.

Wet'suwet'en Protests and Blockades in BC
Battlemonger replied to DonLever's topic in Off-Topic General
The media calls them counter protests. Us Albertans are just out picking up garbage when we see it on railways, is all. -
He played mainly with Petey and Miller.

We better get serious here and string some wins together. My fingernails need to heal. -
Push back is hard to accomplish in today's game. Refs are always looking for retaliations. Instead of pushing back, I say initiate actions in all games and let other teams retaliate. That's today's game.

[PGT] Calgary Flames at Vancouver Canucks | Feb. 08, 2020

Petey is angry and a fire has been stoked under him. He is gonna get meaner. Watch him put on another 20 pounds of muscle this summer. Imagine him in 4 years - 6'4" and 200 lbs of shifty hell. -

Score could have been 10-2 if Marky didn't stand on his head again. Flames were hungrier. Looked like they were starving, in fact. We had no response and were schooled. It wont be the last time either, but we keep getting better and better. Cheers! -
LOL. Brock is doing great. So is Virtanen and Gaudette. Keep em all, if you can. We have 3 good, young right handers that are being taught how to play up and down the lineup. Patience, grasshoppers.

[Report] Canucks recall Justin Bailey, Zack MacEwen

Loving our new found depth!! -
Hughes is the definition of an NHL gem. Soooo good.

Love it when wingers can play their off wing. I played LW as a RH shot and I found it easier to protect the puck on the backhand and when given a chance to cut inside, there was more net to hit when shooting. If we didn't need wingers on the right side like we do, I'd love to see a line with Pods on the right side and Virt on the left side at one point.

Biggest surprise by the break....besides Hughes
Battlemonger replied to danjr's topic in Canucks Talk
The biggest surprise for me is how Virt has taken off this year. I thought we wouldn't be seeing this from him for another couple years.
