Still shocked about Chadwick Boseman’s passing. 2020 has truly been a $@*# year
-
Not much generated this period so far. Really hope we can get one before the intermission
-
Vegas got all the bounces that period. Sucks. We deserve better. But the PP hasn't come through For us yet

If you want to support BLM then by all means you are free to do so.
If someone else is against racism and wants to take a stand and thinks BLM is not the right vehicle or avenue, then they are free to do so. But I think you will find that not supporting BLM is more correlated with looking into the organization than with ignorance about it.
I am against racism, far more against racism than I am worried about making sure everyone on social media knows I am against racism. And I would be very, very surprised if a tiny fraction of the posters on here have done the things I've done or taken the risks I've taken to combat it when facing situations involving serious dangers and harm, not microaggressions on Twitter. And I DO NOT support Black Lives Matter, because I have looked into the organization, its platform, its financing and its tactics, and I strongly believe that it is not the vehicle for fighting racism in 2020. Not even close.
And a dangerous situation has been created when people get shouted down or mobbed or swarmed or shamed if they don't automatically support BLM, because now we can't even have honest or intelligent conversations about whether it is the best way to fight racism or not.
There are many people that don't support the BLM organization and platform for valid reasons. There are literally millions - MILLIONS - of black Americans that do not support BLM. And it is not out of ignorance. And they believe that black lives have value and are important.
Before you levy the accusation of ignorance at anyone that doesn't support the BLM organization, I hope that you have honestly ensured that you have looked into the matter sufficiently yourself.
If you or anyone else does not want To support BLM that’s fine. I hold no judgment.
But I stand by my stance on the mentioned ignorance. Some comments do come across that way to me, but I’m not going to single people out. My main point I was getting at was that people should not complain about A playoff game getting postponed about taking a stance on a social issue. There are much bigger things than hockey right now.
I will say no more on this. All the best.

It’s honestly disheartening that several users have exposed so much ignorance in their views on this BLM movement. The Players, particularly the Canucks, taking a stand against racism by boycotting a game, and you have the gall to whine about it? Get off your entitled high horse.
This is not a political issue this is a societal issue. Racism has always been a huge problem since the beginning of time. You can only feign ignorance for so long. The NHL is predominately made up of Caucasians, and they are showing their support for the few minorities that are apart of the league. It’s the one hundred percent right decision. If you seriously have the nerve to complain about separating sports and a real societal problem that exists in all sports, you need to get your head out of your ass
BLM.

LOL at this franchise. What a circus they are. First the Chayka drama, their embarrassing exit courtesy of the Avs and now this?

Gone are the days of Zac Dalpe and Ronalds Kennins. What a joy to see actual game breaking young players.
And dare I say it... Willie D and his playing the eff out of Chaput, Megna and Vey

Canucks won the 1st & 3rd, Vegas dominated the 2nd. Full value for the win tonight.
This Vegas team gets frustrated so easily. Need to keep pushing them into the bad penalties.
Agreed. We can burn them with our speed. I think the key is to frustrate them by forcing them to take penalties

Psh, we ain’t afraid of you, Knights. We just proved why we ousted the champs, we don’t fear no one.
Little diving primadonnas.

Gotta give Eagle a shoutout. Had a tough game 1, but he’s been very solid tonight.

Vegas is literally becoming my least favourite team. Cockiness is apparent, and they embellish the hell out of things. Is there anything they don’t whine or complain about? They are such an unlikeable bunch.
Ohh boohoo sorry the officials effed you against San Jose last year, but welcome to the NHL. It happens to everyone! Stop throwing yourselves pity parties!

Great start. But cannot let up. Vegas can score in bunches

I honestly stopped reading when I read Toffoli is “done like Ferland”.
Madden is hardly a NHL guarantee, and If he becomes one, he will be bottom 6 at the most. We have many that fill that roll.
But thanks for laugh. Needed that after the $*#t show tonight.- 1

Before the media starts the conversation that this is Canada's team, lets get something straight. We don't want platitudes from Edm, Tor, Cgy, Wpg or Mtl. This is BC's team. I'm just fine with the rest of the country hating us. Bring on the hate. Everyone hates us, we don't care.
Agreed. The whole Canada’s team thing is silly. I couldn’t care less if any of them cheer for us. I cheer against the Lames, Oilers and especially the Laffs at any chance I get!

Anything can happen in the playoffs. We booted the defending champs, and now we are facing the number 1 seed. If we want to get to the end, we were going to have to get through Vegas eventually.
The boys need to bring that same killer instinct and determination that beat St Louis. If they do, I can see us potentially upsetting Vegas in 7. But this will be tough. Go get em boys!

I am so damn proud of this team.
That was one of the greatest Canucks playoff performances I have seen in my 20 somewhat years of watching this team.
They gave the Blues next to nothing in that game. They got a PP goal and The PK was solid tonight. Marky was great when he needed to be.
Beagle and Motte were the two stars tonight. Fantastic performance by those two. Blues got so laser focused on our top line, they forgot that our bottom lines can produce as well.
And Travis Green deserves a freaking standing ovation. Game 5, he switched up the lines and got the team to score 4 unanswered goals and divided Eagle’s Ice time perfectly when he got injured. He had the team dialed in tonight. This guy is what we need in a coach.Vegas is going to be a monster of a challenge for us, but considering what this team did to St Louis this series, this team will just stare danger in the face and tells it to go %#*^ itself.
Salute Canuck fans! Celebrate this weekend!!! Wooooo!!

[PGT] Vegas Golden Knights at Vancouver Canucks | Aug. 29, 2020 | Golden Knights lead series 2-1

Had a decent first period minus the 1:30 span that led to two goals
Then the final 40 minutes.... Just Terrible... terrible! No urgency. No real good chances. PP completely ineffective.
Need to bounce back tomorrow.
