    Who the hell cares what people on here proposes in a trade for Hutton, or any player? What a stupid argument. You sure seem to be stuck on this idea that we can force a trade with other teams. It doesn't mater what value we place on him, what matters is the value actual GMs put on players like Hutton. Deal with it.

    What extra cap space? They haven't even re-signed Marner yet. Who would they get to replace him?

    That's not an excuse when you look at teams like Tampa and Chicago, who also picked late, yet they still found gems later in the draft. There were plenty of great players Gillis could have drafted, but he chose busts instead. Horvat is literally the only successful draft pick from the previous regime.
