Wrong! Tampa was not in the same position. Miller at this stage is much better than a declining Marleau. Tampa didn't trade Miller because they thought he sucked and were desperate to move him. Miller is a legit top-6 player with no trade protection that many teams would have wanted, as opposed to an anchor that is Marleau.

No, Vancouver didn't overpay. They paid fair market value for a top-6 player. Umm, New Jersey gave up their 9th overall pick for Schneider, which we used to draft Horvat. What the hell are you talking about?
