    Was surprised to hear last night's colour guy ( deBrusk ? ) say that Gaudette was a 'healthy scratch' for 3 games. I think that deBrusk is the best colour guy on HNIC/ SN, about 1000x better than that sock drawer lover that does the TML games. (.....................or did I mishear what was said ? ) Gaudette has looked so much better since early December ! ( now lose Pouliot and let's have a look-see at McEneny ! )

    There are almost 3000 posts on the Donald Trump thread. I have not read one post on that thread. CDC is not a place to visit for political enlightenment ! Please Mods.......kick these political intrusions to the dumpster, where they belong. It's bad enough having every 'rumour' thread turn immediately into 'armchair GM time'. This has to be stopped ! (............rant over ! )

    Alf is many things. Troll is not one of them ! The poster to whom you are replying is what I refer to as a 'round and rounder'. It's not pure trolling, but exists to annoy. No post ever gets 100% answered.......maybe 80%, cherry picked, a couple of direction changes, move the goal posts a tad and you have the ' never ending' thread. Use the 'ignore' option. You'll be glad you did !

    His hockey opinions are suspect, but his use of his thesaurus is ubiquitous and almost ( not quite ) impressive. He's kind of like one of those 'word of the day' calendars that used to be popular.

    I thought that PP looked good in the FB streamed game vs Springfield. Not a fan of his usage this year. I guess the choice was ECHL or Finland. Edit: EliteProspects shows him as playing for TPS ( Liiga )

    In the Springfield game (....the one streamed on FB ) I thought Jasek was very noticeable. Nothing on the scoresheet, but very good. Was surprised that he gets the only assist on the 3-1 goal. Kero seems to be a big part of the play !

    They're all Toronto based.....but yes, the story was about all the Philly goalies from a > z. You were 'z'. Philadelphia has cycled through a couple different coaching staffs and front office setups since the Bobrovsky deal (Paul Holmgren, the GM at the time, is now team president), all while trying an alphabet-spanning list of goaltenders that ranges from Alex Lyon to Rob Zepp.

    3 years in Owen Sound. I thought he looked good in the last game he played. Was surprised he didn't dress in Utica's next game.

    For all CDCers losing sleep wondering about Dmitry Zhukenov ! It's been a while, but it seems he is now playing for AZ Havirov in the Czech 'Chance Liga' ( 2nd tier ). He scored a goal and will hopefully play more than one game and find a home. Has now played 3 games this season and is on his 3rd team ! As I always hope for the best, I expect him to totally turn his career towards the positive !

    Did not see the final 2 minutes. Just before my feed froze, McEneny was limping off the ice ! Any updates on his health. Thought he looked great in the first two periods. ( only saw bits and pieces of the 3rd period ).

    Watched Utica for the first time last night. Strange game from Springfield. Dahlen looked great, McEneny was impressive and I thought Jasek and even Palmu looked great !     Haha.....let's talk irony. Two 2007 a/cs, both with almost zero activity. Both coming alive again at the same time ! I know it's just coincidence, but a sceptic might be amused.

    Thought that Gaudette played his best game yet against Minnesota. Was especially impressed with his 'confidence' in the d-zone. Seems to have suddenly taken a step forward.

    McEneny, who seems to be in the Salo/ Tanev injury club, is often overlooked. A season long injury allowed a projected 2nd/ 3rd round pick become undrafted. A quirk in timing ( can't remember what it was ) allowed us to sign him. He plays both sides. Has good offence and in my mind is 'next' for a trip to the big club. I put him and Sautner ahead of Brisebois, Chatfield and even Juolevi.

    I wonder why CDC ( the 'site', not the posters ) is allowing a troll with a 'go fund me' a/c that is basically anti Canuck to post at all. The reason this troll is here is to gain financial traction for his 'gfm' a/c. Recycle this neanderthal to HF boards please !

    There are two options ( in my mind ) when things don't make sense. 1) It's not true.....( doesn't fit here ! ) and 2)...we don't have all the relevant facts ! I don't really think that the 'close to the family' story is the whole story !

    Sorry if it's been covered already, but don't the Canucks/ Comets have to decide on an extension ( or no extension ) this coming January ?
