Just watched a few minutes of Frolunda vs Farjestad. Didn't think I'd get to see much of KG as he's listed as 7th dman. Watched a bit of the 3rd, Frolunda up 4-3, KG was on the ice more than any other dman, 5x5 and short handed. Made a superb play ( short handed ) when he took out a forward going for an empty netter, with the Frolunda goalie at the other side of the net. Looked good.

Palmu, Gaunce, Jasek and Carcone were all out last night. Dahlen has played all games so far. Hamilton has not played ( injured ? )

His -3 stat line last night shows that perhaps there are lessons still to be learned.

Glad we picked Pettersson. I wanted Cody Glass ( Mittelstadt as alternate ). I think CDC would have been happy had we picked Glass. 6 games, 17 points. Hard to be too critical !

Ryan Kennedy had JV rated 12th. CB did not have JV in the 1st round, but, if we're cherry picking, he had dal Colle at 5 ( Capt Hindsight says.....w t f ! ) Nylander at 9 ( wow.....idiot ! ) and even has the biggest bust of that draft Conner Bleakley at 30. Got to love cherry picked 'facts' ! ( /s )

Please remember that all CDC 'trades' must include someone retaining 50% of salary and there has to be a 4th round pick involved somewhere !

Any idea if the trio at the end are still blogging ? They were all total wankers, but, the guy in the pale blue t-shirt really takes the 'worst wanker' of the year award ! Would like to see more of their hockey expertise. We can all learn from them.

A little surprised that nobody is ooing/ aaahing at EP's face-off numbers from last night. 60%. 6/ 10. The only one I recall was a d-zone draw after an icing that he won cleanly. Will watch closely next game. ( @ Carolina on Tues. )

No. It's just the way they list their line-ups. They have one more skater than NHL. They list 3 units of 5 and 1 unit of 4. So, basically 4 forward lines, 3 d pairings and a 7th dman. I get my KHL ( Tryamkin/ Manukyan ) Finnish Liiga ( Utunen ) and SHL ( Gunnarsson ) info from FlashScore.ca.. Take a look. It's a bit odd, but it sort of makes sense.

I think Sifers was injured most of the time Blujus was on the roster. Cull praised him and Sautner whenever defence was mentioned.

I believe Blujus was their #1 RD last year. A pleasant surprise. Don't think he did too well in the playoffs tho'. Going totally on 2nd hand info, so take with a grain of salt.

This poster got neutered when his beloved 'down vote' was removed. A -450 rep was a wet dream for him. You will be so much happier now that you have used the Iggy Stardust option !

Thanks. Never had any 'official' word on his injury. He actually looked pretty good in a couple of training camps, but no success at the AHL level. I think JB was a little overwhelmed, in his early days, by all the holes that needed filling. Mackenze Stewart might have been his first signing. I think he's changed (....MacMaster on AHL contract for instance ) Canucks are dismal on the injury updates. McEneny has hardly been mentioned. Annoying.

Draft time is a favourite time on CDC. Lots of emotional explosions ! That's a good thing. People are excited. Personally I know that when it comes to the draft, I know diddly squat....nada....zilch. Folk, myself included, get 98% of their opinions from discussions and almost nothing from eyes on. Pettersson was not even on my radar. With my very, very limited viewing, I did not want Makar or Vilardi, but would have welcomed them to the organisation. I was dreading a Rasmussen or Tippett pick. I wanted Heiskanen, Glass or Mittelstadt, in that order. Once we picked Pettersson, I was totally on board ( as a 'nuck fan, you always hope for the best ). I had a good laugh reading some of the angst that this pick generated. I am surprised that people reacted so harshly. Surely they know that they have only a small part of the story !

Once again, no mention of Y-P Laplante ! Injured most of last season and nowhere to be seen this year. Is he out of the game ? You'd think there would be a snippet of info. He's probably #46 of our 46 used roster spots, but the total silence is annoying !

The only info I get is via FlashScore.ca. So to quote Manuel, I know nothing ! As an overly optimistic 'nuck fan, I choose to assume that his game is becoming elite-ish !
