  1. Cheer up man. It’s almost July. It’s a topic to discuss other than Tyler Meyers and JT Miller. You don’t like it, press back
  2. I apologize if I leave out any names but off the top of my head these are who I can remember. But who do you think is the most reliable and respected media member(s). As well as who is just out to lunch and frankly, even annoying with their coverage of the Canucks. Like i said off the top of my head I’m thinking of. Sekeras, price, Dan murphy, Ed willes, Ian Macintyre, riccio, janda, sat shaw, Alex auld, walker, rintoul, irfaan gafaar. (Sorry is there’s spelling errors) my opinion is I really like listening to canucks central at noon with sat shaw and Alex auld. And I think sekeres and price and irfan gafaar are the most annoying. Irf just seems out to lunch and leches off others info. And sekeres and prices callers are just annoying homer Canucks fans.
  3. Does anybody have a link or just straight up the information of where we pick in every round past the first. Google is failing me.
  4. Hey everyone. I apologize if this has been discussed or is already in another thread. But I was wondering if anybody had a link to the full draft pick by pick for every round. Both days. I have looked everywhere. And google is useless for this. Thanks in advance for any help!
  5. although I believe Petterson is a shoe in for the Calder, he totally had a run for his money by Jordan Binnington. If the votes weren’t cast before the playoffs started to avoid bias I think Binnington would be the clear shoe in as of now. Regardless I think petey has nothing to worry about. Looking into the rules and what it takes to qualify as a rookie in the NHL. The rule defines it as: Rookie Qualifications. To be considered a rookie, a player must not have played in more than 25 NHL games in any preceding seasons, nor in six or more NHL games in each of any two preceding seasons. Any player at least 26 years of age (by September 15th of that season) is not considered a rookie. binnington turns 26 on July 11 2019. So he BARELY squeaks into being qualified for the designation. Personally I think that’s too old to be able to qualify as a rookie. The game limits make sense, but I think 26 is too old. That’s potentially 5 years in AHL after they qualify at the age of 20. That ALOT of time in a professional hockey league IMO. I think it should be capped out at 23 at the start of that seasons training camp. Thoughts?
  6. So let’s look At this in 2 separate questions with 2 answers each. Which top Canuck players in the current era of high speed, end to end action, better goalies, better fitness etc etc.. would Be hindered most from going back to the clutching and grabbing era. And who would actually benefit from it based on their style of plays. Also on the flip side. Which top Canuck players from the clutching and grabbing era, be hindered the most in a high speed more skill etc. As well as who would have most benefited from playing in the current era. My picks are: New era going back, hindered: Sedins benefit: Kesler Old era moving forward hindered: linden benifit: bure
  7. I’ll keep it short and sweet. Let’s discuss your favourite Canucks heavy weights of all time. Or even if they didn’t fight that often but still could throw them, let’s hear some guys fights that stand out in your mind. For myself my favourite tough guy of all time was Donald Brashear. And my favourite fight (and I know it was a couple fights) but the jovo and deadmarsh feud. (Yes I understand the outcome of the final fight. But it still was very memorable. Thoughts?
