No all it'd do is reset their tenure if you were to send them down and eventually call them back up.. I have a couple guys in the AHL like that (Raty/Nemec)

When you draft players sometimes we will put them in your AHL roster depending if CF has them listed in the NHL or not. Some people are calling up players now that they expect to start the season with to get ahead of the tenure part of the team morale a bit. In all honesty a few days won't mean much, but theoretically the sooner your guys are on the main club the better it will be for your overall team morale.. But again, a few days will be very small once we get going.

Vancouver Canucks Draft Progress We have tried to build a mix of NHL talent & youth, while trying to have a competitive team year 1. Though we do feel we accomplished that, there's no doubt we went a little more prospect heavy than initially intended. Every time we got up the NHL players we were eyeing were being snatched up. So the younger players just kept becoming the obvious choice. There is no doubt the future in Vancouver is very bright, but we will be looking to make a couple moves to atleast bring the fans some playoff hockey year 1. We may not be favorites by any stretch but we have formed a pretty solid young core with some nice veteran leadership, while also building imho 1 of the best prospect pools in the league. I mean as long as you have the minimum requirements met you'll be good. If unfortunate circumstances prevail in the season it'll be handled on a case by case bases, and you'll likely be asked to make a move to fix roster holes

Couple of additions to the "FAQ" You DO NOT need to hit the cap floor in the draft, but you will need to by October 1st. It would be wise to hit the cap floor by the end of the draft though, as this may force you into needing to overpay for some free agents post draft.

IMPORTANT NOTICE Make sure to frequently check the OP as I plan to add to the "FAQ" over the next few days. Hopefully it will help answer a lot of the questions you all have. With a lot of new GMs in the league I'm sure they're not too familiar with how these leagues are ran. So I'm hoping this is a big help for them, and ask anyone to let me know of things that could be added to it that I may have missed. Thanks!
