Don’t care much for Tkachuk but Weegar was the worst player on the Panthers in the playoffs last year and Huby was invisible as well. Risky move by Florida but don’t really feel like the current cast was lifting a cup anytime soon. Bobrovsky’s awful contract limits what they can do. So they got tougher - which is what they needed. We will see how it shakes out.

Yeah for sure. Prior to Vasy you weren’t seeing salaries that high winning the cup. He’s been on another level. Curious to see how he plays as Tampa has less depth and more top heavy. I love the 5M mark. Maybe 6 max. I live in South Florida and it’s just brutal the constant hate Bob gets around town for his salary and how having another 4M would allow them to keep Giroux.

Avs are stacked. Spend minimal money on a goalie is the way to go IMO. Save that money for Mackinnon. Rarely does it make sense to tie up major money to a tendy.

I’m bias because I know Andrew Peeke’s family personally but from what I’ve been told Columbus jerked him around a bit before giving him a fair shake at the NHL level. He’s a defense first guy. Top 10 in blocked shots. Great on the PK. Played with Werenski later in the year. Played top pair minutes.

Well with all the free time hopefully Elias, Quinn, and Brady are taking some nice bong rips in the Hughes family basement out there in Michigan and having some thought provoking conversations about life and what it will take to raise the cup once they finally sign.

Kuemper was solid on a crappy team. Now he will play on a good team. I expect him to put up Vezina type numbers if he doesn’t get hurt.

Garland is a stud who produced on a bad team. Excited for him to get to play with the talent we have here. OEL is a ‘we’ll see” for me. I can’t imagine wanting to give it your all playing in a spot that has run its course. Odd he signed that long deal but looking forward he will no doubt be better simply by being somewhere he is wanted and excited to be.

Schmidt is a beauty. Can't wait for this infectious personality to be in the locker room.

Y'all need to take a deep breath and enjoy some of that fine Canada marijuana. There is still a lot that will happen before the season. We weren't winning the cup fielding the same team as last year. And deep down we all know we weren't winning the cup this upcoming year anyway. Toffoli hurts but new blood is needed. Those Tanev and Markstrom contracts are scary and I'm glad we passed. This is a longer term process. Petey and Hughes aren't getting $10M next year and we'll have a lot off the books to go about this in a better way. We need to be patient and build a contender for the next decade not just a few years. I'm excited about some of the young guns coming in and getting a shot to crack the line up.

Going to miss Tanny but this was his first year staying healthy in a while. Think the right call was made here.

Amazing season and very proud of the boys. They’ll hopefully learn a lot of valuable lessons from this. Vegas dominated the entire series but they found a way to stay in it. We’ve got a resilient bunch and it’ll be exciting to see what happens next year. Onward and upward.

Vegas is a much better team. There is a lot to be optimistic about but they played scared and tentative this entire series.
