The perfect example of millennial online threats, or bullying or whatever. Means nothing lmao. Edit: But as you all have already said, at least the twitter kid realized he better back off and apologize. The evils of social media lmao.
-
I think you missed the point. Some nobody twitter goof tried to state Virtanen was at the roxy whilst calling into question Virtanen's skills. Virtanen is a young man who already has become a regular in the NHL and he makes millions. The little twitter goof has no job and no credibility and thought he would throw out a jab at Virtanen. That little twitter goof blew it big time and now people are telling him so. And why would any poster here "better hope it's not me..." and hope you aren't the punk that tweeted the lie? Because you are so influential? Haha yea ok pal.
-
Hopefully one of our 4th liners speed bags the worm marchand this year during a game. That would be fantastic. Or maybe Virtanen can break the worm in two on a nice clean check!

I am pretty sure Brock will pick up the tab when he gets a $50 million dollar contract shortly lol.
-
Haha...wow. That jeremy davis (canucksmarmy) is a real genius.

I have no idea about the Goldobin situation but we hear somewhat regularly about old in the tooth players going on LTIR near the ends of their career. I mean really...a guy claiming to be allergic to his gear? Really lmao!!!! Although towards your point, most of those situations are probably more about a team wanting cap room and making those decisions without the players input. Just my opinion.

This board is a heck of a lot more pro Canuck players than many sites (especially HF). There will be many here supporting Boeser even if he does not live up to the lofty expectations he now has due to his phenomenal first season. HF posters already hate the world and seem suicidal. They, for sure, will hack the hell out of him...it is amusing is a sick kinda way.

Nhl network top 50 prospects includes 4 canucks
Kanukfanatic replied to cuporbust's topic in Prospects / Farm Team
I'm just happy the Canucks actually have prospects good enough to be on the list!!! Edit: ...plus at the end of the day the "list" means sweet FA. If our prospects turn out to be better than some "list" that is what is important. So much drama lmao. -
...plus Juolevi, Dahlen, Gaudette, Virtanen, and Lind. Edit: some would also add Woo in there but I would like to at least see the D+1 year!

A 6th round pick like Palmu only has a 9% chance to ever play 100 games in the NHL or a 1.9% chance to ever be a top 6 forward. I think height has much less to do with a prospect's success than their overall draft position. Both Palmu's height and draft position made him a long shot to begin with...hence him getting picked 181st overall. Pettersson at 5th overall has a 100% chance to get those 100 NHL games and Boeser a 70% chance (getting picked at 23rd overall). Those three players are not comparable in any single way. Anyways, stats aside, for the posters that know a lot about Palmu, do you feel he already has a better chance at playing in the NHL then his 6th round chances should be? I think the answer is "yes" but to what degree we will see in the next couple years.

While in hindsight it turned out to be bad, there were a lot of crap picks made by teams even before the Canucks took Schroeder.
-
That was an awesome play lol!!
-
Ok. HUGE difference though lol. Thanks for clarifying.
-
I mean, I am stoked for EP also. But NO, EP did not crash the internet lmao. Come on. Maybe you meant to say some single website or something.
-
Pettersson won't bump Horvat. Boeser is a RW. Baertschi is LW. Goldobin is LW. Weird...
-
Yeah right. It is the internet. Of course he is going to be bashed.
-
This seems to be why it would be a good idea to try him on left wing with Bo and Boeser. Along with his speed and voracious fore check.
-
That would be something to see lol.

Book: UFOs by Leslie Kean - NY Times Bestseller
Kanukfanatic replied to Kanukfanatic's topic in Off-Topic General
Fair enough. But there are some very compelling sightings that have occurred many times as described in the book. They don't necessarily say they are ETs but they do say the "vehicles" are not from earth. -

Thanks for the link. That is an excellent summation of everything that has been going on with respect to the UFO issue. -

If that is true then all those military pilots and commercial pilots saw what? Even the French, Belgium, Chilean, and Brazilian governments now admit there are UFOs. They just cannot explain them. -

I would agree. Yet the UFO phenomenon actually exists. -

Agreed. The lid is about to come off this whole subject. Maybe not imminently but in the next few years I believe. Although some people have said that for a long tiime. We shall see.
