  1. Why post this if you have to pay? or give your info? Just askin...
  2. Interesting idea. I am one of those fans that think Jake will break out. Putting him with EP is very intriguing. Would be interesting to see if EP can get him scoring again!! Jake on the hard forecheck or stealing pucks and getting them to EP...hmmm.
  3. I don't think he has the Kesler physique at all... ...he doesn't have the d-bag abs or the scumbag pecks!! Nevermind the obvious lack of low - character quads.
  4. I guess it depends if Goldy can actually work hard and be consistent over the first bunch of games. If not, he won't be here long imo. I hope he can step it up personally.
  5. Good God I hope you are wrong. Why the heck would the coach give Sutter more O Zone starts because we have Beagle? Why the heck would the coach NOT give more O zone starts to Horvat / Boeser...their best offensive players? Silly. Edit: Sutter and Beagle should be the ones taking all the D zone coverage imo....sigh.
  6. I am not really interested in another russian at this point (not at a high draft pick). They are a bit of a cliche...too many of them are examples of lazy hockey players and many don't like what they are offered. Tryamkin is a good example for the Canucks. He had a great opportunity and pissed it away. Honestly I loved him, but he thought he deserved more ice time after showing up fat and out of shape. Then he leaves cuz he doesn't like western culture. Oh boy....we should all change the way we live so tryamkin feels better. I do not like to make generalizations but after tryamkin I don't want the Canucks picking another russian unless they have been in North America for a while and have played in North America for a while and have shown they could adjust. So unless it is a low round pick forget it imo. Edit: look at yakupov..the lazy goof is blaming everyone but himself for busting in the NHL. Pathetic.
  7. Good thing we were able to draft Huhges. Him, Hovat, Beoser, Vartanan, Joukevy, and Darco will be gud. Edit: dom arto kareckt!!
  8. Ummm.....haha....that is fricking funny!!
  9. I don't have very high hopes for Gaunce based on his last couple years. However, it would be awesome if he broke out like you are describing.
  10. That does look quite good. Can't wait for the Canucks to get back on the ice!!
  11. Bolded is an excellent point. Bouchard is a young man that has worked hard to become a very good young prospect. Lazy does not seem to be a word that fits with him. Strange comment by the other poster imo.
  12. Your first post is to cut down another prospect? Geez.
  13. None of the reasoning in that piece make sense imo. Edit: 1. The Canucks don't need him to be a centre from day one. They can work him into the role the same as was done in the SHL. Or they start him as a centre and put him with a couple of forwards that are good defensively as well to assist EP. 2. Linemates & a winning environment: please. There are some good linemates for him to play with on the Canucks...certainly better than some of the players in Utica. 3. Asset Management: oh my gosh..the Canucks may have to waive some fodder for EP to play in the bigs...no big deal. Not a very convincing piece imo for EP to not start in the NHL. Others may disagree.
  14. Pettersson won't be there. Gaudette may not...or only until an early injury. IMO
  15. Quin Hughes (some said his skating was exceptional) is not the only player rated as one of the fastest skaters in the 2018 draft. Also in the mix (whether we agree or not) are: Merkley - some said he is the fastest Noel Boqvist Dahlin - some said his skating is sublime Foudy Berggren Kupari Just spitballing.
  16. He may have peaked (at 17) and we might only have him for the twilight years of his career.....damn...
  17. Ohhh...good one...go follow the coilers. You are good...real gud....witty and all. Lol.
  18. That is the only game I remember about Hutton last year. I LOVED that hit. Now he only has to do that 40 more times a year lol.
  19. Nothing is set in stone. Things can change on a dime. If Gaudette proves to be a better option at centre it isn't hard to give him a spot. He won't be fighting Beagle for 4th line C. He won't be fighting Horvat for 1 C. Sutter is a shut down C and likely Gaudette won't fight for that. It depends on how long Petterson takes to get used to the NHL and to play C. And some playoff teams this year had 9 centres in their 12 forward group. No one took Gaudette's spot. If he plays well he plays on the team. Simple concept.
  20. Well lets see. Gagner has not done well but is useful depth. Gaunce has shown very very little. I suppose he is a replacement level player. Archibald - big and tough but if he gets more than 4 or 5 games in the NHL loses all his fire. He is barely an NHLer. Goldobin...the best of the bottom few. Could work hard and show he belongs. Boucher.....borderline NHLer right now But you seem to have an issue focusing on what you said. You said the Canucks gave away Gaudette's spot. If Gaudette shows well in camp the team said he has a spot. So trade or waive whomever you have to (without totally stupid asset destroying moves). And yes...those moves don't have to be made in the first week of the league. Injuries happen and in as little as a month into the season teams lose depth and need players. You seem to have a very shallow grasp of the NHL...no offence. You still didn't answer whom has been given Gaudette's spot. Maybe it was just really bad wording on your part...but you have not acknowledged that yet. PS: you failed to mention Schaller has had surgery and will be out for the beginning of the season. There is one more spot. Granlund could be an ok player. And leipsic has barely shown anything yet. There is room if need be.
  21. Schaller is not a centre. Gagner...I am fine if they get rid of him if Gaudette steps up and takes the 3 C spot. No one gave away Gaudette's spot this year. It really is that simple. It is there for him to take.
  22. So WHO TOOK GAUDETTE'S spot??? You didn't answer. If you really think Beagle did, don't mind if we pat you on the head and say there...there (and don't listen to your silly talk).
  23. JAKE and ALF dream the same things??!! Gross.....(puke).
  24. If he matures and shows up in shape, and plays whatever the coach tells him to play...then WELCOME BACK TRYAMP!! Otherwise, beat it!!
