Haha. Burke is an idiot. Hughes is almost ready to play at the NHL level now. And Burke, the blowhard dinosaur, thinks Hughes would rather play 4 years of college? Hughes himself said his goal is to play in the NHL as soon as possible. Why the heck would he pass up signing a contract with the Nucks well before then??!! Every time a kid from college is picked someone moans about them not signing. Not surprised Burke is the first idiot to say it this time.

I would like to see Tryamkin back as I loved it when he was here. Very big strong guy as he showed when he pushed around a couple of other big NHLers and made it look like he was picking on kids. However, Tryamkin seems to have a bit of an entitlement issue. He felt he should play more and maybe he thinks he is better than he really is...or maybe it really was just an issue between him and Dim Willie. Although he is a millennial If he did come back I would hope he would be mature, play hard, and do what the team needs him to. We sorely need that type of big strong guy, even if he does not fight.

I think Fleury was a dominant goalie for 98% of the Vegas G Knights season. That is why they made it to the Stanley Cup finals. Unfortunately his last five games were not dominant. But to your point, maybe it is because so many pro NHLers are all so damn good now that there is very little that separates the top 10 or 15 goalies.

We really have had some doozies. But it was shocking to see a supposed coach like WD not even try to line match in the playoffs. Absolutely shocking? It was like he was coaching high school hockey, only coaches in high school line match. So I guess I'm not sure what it was like? Maybe like having a bus driver try to coach hockey? God awful.

I really don't think it is unfathomable that Olli beats out Hutton or Pouliot in camp. Who knows though...that may just be wishful thinking. One of those guys (Hutton) may be gone anyway.

It has already been corrected a few times that Elias did not say 177. He said 77, as in kg. That is 169.5 pounds.

I agree with your comments on Archi. After he played a few games last year it almost seemed like he became too comfortable and from then on he displayed very little physical play...which is what got him the contract to begin with.
