That story and poll mean nothing. There is no "class" of firearm in Canada called an assault rifle. Meaningless poll when made up terms are used. Now if that poll had asked Canadians "do you agree with fully automatic machine guns being banned in Canada" then the poll would have meaning. Even I would be for that type of ban. But meaningless polls have meaningless results.

Your bolded is kind of the point. WE have not collectively deemed anything. 34% of the voting public voted in justin....so a minority of people voted that teacher into power and now that minority unconstitutionally banned privately owned items from 100% of the public.

I work in the Canadian legal system. The actual plan that is better than this is for Canadian judges to do their jobs and send criminals away for the times noted in the Criminal Code. But they don't. They send murderers to jail for 5 years and then let them out.

But there are no problems with the legally owned firearms in this country. justine is using the excuse of the Nova Scotia killings to unconstitutionally seize personal property. The killings that occur in Canada due to firearms are done by criminals with illegal firearms. justine merely needs to direct his judges to follow the law and actually jail those criminals and he would not have to ban anything. I am not sure why so many people don't understand how weak this liberal justice system/judges are.

You obviously don't understand the Canadian firearm system or what that other poster is telling you over and over. Automatic machine guns are already prohibited in Canada. The ban put in place by the libtards today deals with 1,500 other types of firearms.

You need to read their post again. "Assault Rifle" is not a class of firearm. Please be clear on what you are asking. Are you asking if citizens should own fully automatic machine guns? Because they can't. That class of firearm is prohibited.

Awesome post. The majority of Canadians understand none of what you posted so most of those ignorant people agree with bans they don't even understand. The ban won't make Canadians safer. If justin truly has that as a goal, his weak arse judges could actually send criminals to jail. But no....little wee justin doesn't do that.

Just when I gave justin a bit of credit for doing ok during the covid pandemic, that little s&%$ goes and pulls this fast one with a ban of over 1,500 different types of firearms. Juolevi is gonna be 22 in a couple of weeks. I wonder if there are any comparable D men picked at the top of the 1st round that were touted to be top NHL d men yet never played an NHL game until they were 23. Maybe if I get time later I will into it a bit. Who knows what will happen at this point though.
