  1. I picked 7 wins. One loss to the Oilers and one loss to the Flyers. With training camp and practices, I think the Canucks will do very well.
  2. Nice. That'll save my friend from having to put away his Virtanen Jersey. Lol.
  3. Just recently started playing NHL09 with my son on the PS3. Lol. I'll wait a few more years before getting a PS5.
  4. Was listening to SN650. They had a guy from The Athletic. Says likely EP to get a bridge deal similar to Barzel. $7.25-7.5m x 3yr. Says QH is a bit more complex cuz he has no real comparable. Might go bridge then score big like Werenski. Maybe MacAvoy or Werenksi type bridge deal ($5M x 3yr) he suggested. Says of the 2, QH would be the one to sign a long term deal.
  5. Thinking it'll be bridge contracts for both. JB kicking the can further down the road instead of locking them long term. In a way, it makes sense for both the team and players. The team gets a cheaper deal and cap flexibility in the short term. The players will land a much higher contract next time. So maybe EP $7.5 x 3yrs and QH $7 x 4yrs.
  6. Linden. He put the team on his back in the cup run. Scored the 2 goals in the final game. Heart and soul of the Canucks during that time.
  7. What's the price range for a family of 4 in the family friendly section? My son is finally interested in hockey so was thinking of making it a family outing.
  8. Apparently in Germany, there was a anti-vaxxer nurse (working for the Red Cross I believe) who was injecting patients with saline instead of the vaccine. Reportedly about 8600 people (that they know of) were given saline. Nurse is in custody. It was reported on RoF (Ring of Fire) on YouTube.
  9. I was thinking the Dickinson could be sorta like Burrows. Energy guy that can work the boards, defensively sound, retrieve pucks and dish it to EP and Boeser to do their magic. Bonus is that Dickinson can also take faceoffs.
  10. Naw. I just think some are hoping the Dickinson thread surpasses the Poolman thread. Only 100 pages to go.
  11. I'll make a 22 man roster cuz if it takes an extra mil to get both EP and QH signed to long term contracts. I prefer to roll 3 lines capable of scoring and 1 shutdown line. Dickerson EP Boeser Pearson Bo Garland Hogz Miller Podz Motte Sutter BigMac (Highmore or Gadj) OEL Poolman QH Hamonic OJ Myers Schenn Rathbone in the AHL to dominate and gets a late season call up if cap allows.
  12. EP $8.75M x 8yrs and QH $7.75M x 6yrs. Run a 22 man roster instead of 23 if necessary.
  13. So with the data reported, it is fair to say that the unvaccinated (and not fully vaccinated) are leading the increase/spikes of Covid-19 cases. And if it leads to another Province shutdown, we can be somewhat annoyed with the unvaccinated.
  14. I'm talking about the breakdown of Covid-19 cases in the hospitals currently.
  15. Do they have a breakdown of the numbers of vaccinated/unvaccinated? It would be interesting to see.
  16. Did they say why they didn't want to get the vaccines?
  17. They were able to enforce mandatory masks. Also, Dr Henry even hinted unvaccinated may not enjoy events. As for groceries, there is still curbside pickup as an option and/or home delivery.
  18. It probably will be coming. Private companies can cite Federal Government mandate that all federal employees must be vaccinated as precedence. And thus be able to change their internal policy.
  19. That is correct. The restrictions for unvaccinated is the "make your life difficult " as you put it. But like I said before, there are "new" ways of doing things...like online shopping, curbside pickup, streaming tv shows, etc. The unvaccinated may just not be able to participate in large gathering events (Canucks games, concerts, etc).
  20. People that don't want the vaccine. Fine. But don't expect to keep the same job if it's considered a condition of employment.
  21. Fact check: COVID-19 vaccine mandates don't violate Nuremberg Code https://www.google.ca/amp/s/amp.usatoday.com/amp/5530548001
  22. Ash on cars in Abbotsford. It's nasty.
  23. Friends in Richmond saying there is ash on the cars.
