  1. NHL trade deadline is April 12th. So we have about 11 games left to play. Did not count the game scheduled on the 12th. So we will find out if we are sellers or buyers soon enough.
  2. JB needs to start making trades. It's clear Canucks playoffs chances are slim to none. Also there's no gate revenue happening for Aquilini to recoup $$ in the playoffs anyway. It's the perfect time for Van to be a seller. Get those prospects and picks. NOW!!!
  3. Prefer to have 3 potential scoring lines. Mac EP Boeser Pearson Bo JV Hogs Miller Guadette Roussel Beagle Sutter Motte Then next year Mac EP Boeser Podz Bo JV Hogs Miller Guadette Motte Beagle (x) (×) Roll 4 lines better to keep minutes close to keep legs fresh. None of this 5min game garbage. If you can't trust a player to play 10 min ice time, then they shouldn't be on the ice.
  4. Refs better be in game management mode and even up the penalties. They owe Canucks 2 power plays.
  5. Reason #1 is why you keep him. We need more players willing to get greasy goals in front of the net. That said, it would be best to trade him for a pick, then resign him in the off season. Best possible outcome.
  6. I'd trade ... Motte + 3rd for a 1st or Motte for an early 2nd. Schmidt for a 1st and 2nd 2022. Hamonic for a 2nd. But only if we are out of the playoff race.
  7. I'm not opposed to the idea but isn't Bennet upset being 3C? Which is what he would be if he was acquired.
  8. When Petey comes back, I think they should do the following... Pearson Bo JV Hogslander Miller Gaudette Roussel EP40 Boeser Sutter Beagle Hawryluk JV doing well on Bo wing. Thought Miller excelling in centre providing leadership to young Hogz and Guad. EP keeps his wingman in Boeser while Roussel plays hard along the boards. And a grinding 4th checking line.
