  1. Forgot to mention, trendy fashionable face masks will be a thing. Adopting Japan (I think) culture of donning a mask when going out while sick. Hopefully, the mentality of going to work while sick will change to stay at home. With some government changes to allow for some sick leave.
  2. Doh. The dreaded semi colon. English was my poorest subject. Bleh.
  3. It probably will get postponed and postponed. Any loss of life will be tragic. But a prolonged restriction will probably burst the debt bubble. And interest rates skyrocketing into double digits like the 1980s. Which I guess can be a good thing. With such high interest rates, we will send an end of the current trend of consumerism. And go back to the old ways of repair instead of buy new.
  4. I see May 1st as the date to loosen some of the rules. I see schools remain closed for this year with an eye to reopen in September. Cuz kids are notoriously a germ factory. Teleworking will become a thing. Can't see large events happening until a vaccine is created.
  5. Trudeau said it won't be back to normal until a vaccine is made. However, that doesn't means the strict restrictions will remain forever. I see the Government loosening up some of the rules/orders in order to get the economy moving again. Plus schools will probably need to revamp their programs. Kids staying at home will impact parents working arrangements, and that will also be a drag on the economy.
  6. There was a video posted in this thread of a guy spitting on the control panel of an elevator. So that goes to show you that there are some crappy human beings out there.
  7. Looks like it's going to get worse in the USA. Trump said it's the biggest decision he has to make on when to open the Country for back to work. Supposedly May 1st. The metrics he's using is his brain. The USA is f*****.
  8. https://www.google.com/amp/s/globalnews.ca/news/6806812/coronavirus-mexico-ventilators-us-plant-closed/amp/ Coronavirus: Mexico closes U.S. plant for refusing to sell ventilators This is what happens when Trump tries to prevent sales to countries that need much needed medical supplies.
  9. Trump putting in one of his cronies to make sure some of that money gets funneled into one of his businesses. Smh
  10. Looks like I need to invest into some Scotch.
  11. Lol. I'm snacking more at night. Before bedtime. Luckily my wife and I can alternate working from home. So now only use 1 car instead of 2. So we save about $300/month in gas money. Also save about $200/month from not going out for lunch with co-workers. But seeing an increase in takeout dinners lately. Saved about $3000 from not going anywhere during Spring Break. Small victories.
  12. Sad that Obama had implemented a Pandemic crisis team in 2014 to only have it folded into the NSC (which in any reorganization usually means directives get changed) by Trump in 2018.
  13. Lol. What a load of crock. If they had alot of masks, PPE, Ventilators, etc...then why does FEMA and the US Borders stopping shipments outbound of these products?? What a joke of a Potus. Need to take out the letter "tu" from the acronym.
  14. Nice. I usually stock up when stuff on sale. So I'm good as well. Got camping gear. Finally got my earthquake emergency pack together last year. Just missing a generator.
  15. Well my wife co-worker had Covid-19. She had the runs as well as the chills. So I'm getting that info pretty much 1st hand knowledge.
  16. Probably because diarrhea is a possible symptom of Covid-19. So more trips to the toilet = more toilet paper used.
  17. But you got Dave Pratt too. So it's kind of a wash. Lol.
  18. But bacon taste so good on everything!!
  19. How about 72 games played. 16 teams in playoffs. 1 win to make in the next round. Home ice advantage goes to seeding (most points). The Stanley cup finals make it to a best of 3.
  20. Well as conspiracy theory goes...the Chinese doctor that warned people and then died from the Coronavirus was an ophthalmologist. So why did an eye surgeon happen to know of a possibility of the Coronavirus?
  21. Quite the feat. It took me 5 tries to get him spewing his email invention. Lol.
  22. Like Canadian Tire? Price gouging on rubber gloves. It was on the news a few days ago.
  23. Entrepreneurs like these guys should be thrown a bone once this is over. Each Provinces should procure at least a small amount of the items to keep the manufacturing line running. And then in times of need, the companies can ramp up when required.
  24. Give them a $$ fine for violating the Quarantine Act.
