  1. I remember hearing that one of the reasons we did so well after the coaching change was that the Canucks were mostly facing the other teams back up goalies. So that is something else to consider.
  2. So who are the Canucks going to select?
  3. Canucks still have all summer to make a trade. Just means any draft picks will be next season 2023.
  4. That’s what I’m thinking as well. 8yrs but Canucks offering low $7Ms but Miller wants $8M.
  5. Myers NTC becomes a M-NTC (10 teams no trade list). So depends on which teams are on his list.
  6. The Hockey Writers suggest it’ll be NYR vs NJD. Possibly… Schneider + Chytil vs 2nd overall 2022 + Bratt
  7. Cuz Miller probably wants an 8yr deal while the Canucks probably only offering a 5yr deal
  8. Rumours are that Gaudreau is contemplating Flames offer of $9.5M x 8yrs. Forsberg was rumoured low 8Ms x 8yrs but he wants high 8Ms x 8yrs. Both contract offers are 8yrs. Given that Boeser just got $6.65M x 3yrs. Isn’t it reasonable that Miller is worth around $8M? The term is the stumbling block.
  9. If Miller is hearing Forsberg and Gaudreau are being offered $8M+ x 8yr…why would he accept less term? He is just as valuable to the team as those 2 are for their respective teams. And that’s the problem…
  10. It sounds like Canucks and Miller are close to $$ aav but not on term. Say something like $8.5M x 5yrs but Miller wants 8.5M x 8yrs. This is just me speculating from what I’ve read in the news so far.
  11. Need Miller or equivalent to get Byram if Canucks trading Hughes. Byram looked solid during the playoffs. Will be a future #1D possibly getting 40-50pts.
  12. 2019-2020 NHL 4 games 1pt 2020-2021 NHL 33 games 10pts 2021-2022 NHL 54 games 47pts Prior years he’s been in the minors. He’s 27yr old. Maybe he benefited with playing with some good linemates?
