  1. I know brother. I am not well hung enough to run naked anywhere.
  2. Jeebus if this happens I will run naked down monny main street screaming YEEEEHHHHAAAAAAHHHHH Then get some sort of decent RHD prospect in the next 3 rounds and I will throw in backflips!
  3. Jesus, guns and no abortions. Once you get out of that hell hole what person in their right mind wants to go back.
  4. After the top 5 guys there are no real standouts to me for the next 15 picks. You can make arguments for and against any of them. As I just replied to Isam, Trade down and get Bischel and Kulich. I can dream, can't I ?
  5. The talent available, and the uncertainty of what team will pick which player, makes it virtually impossible IMO to give an even a half accurate guess as to who we will take. Dream scenario for me is trade down and get Bischel and Kulich.
  6. Really respect the thread you created and your analysis of talent, however totally disagree with your observation of hammertime. I think he provides great analysis and loved how he encouraged others to stick to their guns.
  7. Went out in a limb and drafted Rasmus late first round in his draft year. Making me look not so bad now.
  8. So long as he avoids injuries and is developed properly Jiricek will be a true top pairing defender, not just a guy playing a supporting role to a superstar. He will be a better player than Chris.
  9. Here is just one scouting report that refutes your claim that any D-man might become a top pairing defender. https://thehockeywriters.com/david-jiricek-2022-nhl-draft-profile/ "Make no mistake Jiricek has all the tools to become a top pairing defenseman in the NHL someday" Here is one on Nemec https://thehockeywriters.com/simon-nemec-2022-nhl-draft-prospect-profile/ " He's a top pairing power play quarter back and shutdown defender on the penalty kill" There are other scouting reports that basically state the same thing. After watching as much video as I can, I believe these 2 kids have the potential to be top pairing D.

  11. A new " take" on the " pillars of creation". $500 telescope image compared to the original $16 billion Hubble image. https://petapixel.com/2022/07/05/pillars-of-creation-16b-space-telescope-vs-500-backyard-photo/ Stunning

  13. Here you go, some thoughts on your thoughts. https://agadir-group.com/canucks-could-find-quinn-hughes-future-partner-in-2022-nhl-draft/ No player is a certainty until they have played a few hundred games at the very least and contributed/ played their role for the team that drafted them. Injuries, personal tragedies, who knows what can happen.
  14. Gonna lay it on the line. Cooley IMO has the best upside in this draft, can he put it together who knows. Not totally sold on Jurav, one Olympics a player does not make. He will be a player however..... Can't really make up my mind on Jiricek or Nemec, seperate them, slightly bigger frame may help David in the NHL. The next 15 are so hard to get a handle on. Watched hours of video, read every scouting report I can get my hands on and I still wouldn't want to predict how their game will grow,/translate to the NHL. Like a broken record I will continually state our organisation needs a NHL calibre centre and a partner that compliments Hughes. One thing is certain our teams history of drafting is not the best. Let's hope this management turns this trend around and we start to pick players that play their roles for our team and finally bring home a cup. The best hockey show in the world is just starting so I am gonna watch me some Shoresy.
  15. Yep reckon he is gonna be a player. Unfortunately will be gone before we get a chance to draft him. Ya never know.
  16. As I stated he is on a stacked Tampa D. Hedman Sergy, Cernak and McD before he left. He is only 23. He will now get his chance. This is what successful teams like Tampa do. Get the best out of older guys like McDonagh, trade them, then feed younger guys that are on cheap contracts like Foote in. Just when they really need cheap contracts. He will be cost controlled for a few years at the least. Wish we had him on our team.
  17. At 22- 23 Foote played 56 games last year on a Tampa team with a totally stacked D. Now McDonagh is gone watch him get more ice time and flourish.
  18. I think that most of us that have been invested in this thread for a while hope that we trade down and get 2 picks in the top 25- 30 Fully believe we could get that D- man and centre that we really need.
  19. Mate we are all here talking about the sport and team we love. Me, I am like Trey Parker, I will take the piss outa everything, especially including myself.
  20. Thanks my friend. Never considered this when drafting. Another factor to take into consideration. Is this what happened with Adam Fox ?
  21. This is a thread where people like to talk about all the prospects, their potential and generally have a good time talking about this $hit. Everyone has their faves and opinions on who should go were and who we would like our team to take. In the end it will be a mix of amateur/ unpaid and professional/ paid scouts who will make these decisions. As far as I am concerned the guy who started this thread has consistently contributed all year detailed analysis of a bunch of players. Hammertime has also consistently contributed great analysis from the start.
  22. That's a great bunch of players. Ostlund and Kulich are locks to become at the very least solid NHL players. The rest developed properly have a great chance at playing and impacting at NHL level.
  23. Thanks for the heads up. What exactly is the details behind this.
  24. He is a bit small and doesn't fit our needs however I would as a few scouts have, ranked Havelid above Salomonsson.
