Totally. Top 4 D are equal to top 2 centres, top line wingers IMO.

Don't want to upset you however I have been waiting for your last couple of Mock drafts with Chesley going top 15. You stated you were gonna do some teaching with a mock draft a day until the draft. In my experience those who can do, those who can't teach. Don't take this post seriously, just taking the piss. Feel free to take the piss outa me.

You could be right. He probably has the best chance of being the D-man in this draft to play in the NHL.

Brother I have to play the theme Edit I read that she and Jason are coming back for the last week, the show is finally coming to an end. Steph used to be with my friend Leon. She already had a son Harley who was on Neighbours, just finished a stint on Home and away. The had a son together , Jai.

Would love Chesley at pick 151 were we drafted Kevin.

As much as I like some of the Russians and really feel for them, the risk involved has just ramped up with that young goalie getting arrested and getting real sick after being " taken" to hospital.

While it is rare guys like Bourque, Murphy, Doughty, Seider, Lidstrom just off the top of my head made great debuts in their first year or two after being drafted. I don't think Jiricek or Nemec will however who knows.

Glad to have Cale sign on for another 2 years. He joins his brother in signing an extension and hopefully he will continue to grow his game. Thanks to Agent Ty Webb for the negotiations. We only have one more of our RFA's to hear back from, Tristan and then we will have tied up all our Restricted Free Agents.

There is a thread about this in the General Hockey section. Sucks so bad. Times like this, the war and actions like this, I wish there really was a hell and Putin had one way ticket.

Very happy to have tied up Jesse for five more years. We traded for him when I took over as GM and while he is a streaky, with help from our coaches, we believe that he has all the tools to become a top RW in this league. Thanks to Agent Arby for the cordial negotiations.

For my son

It's actually not bad hockey to watch. A few naturally talented athletes. A few Canadian ex- pats. Any hockey is good hockey.

Yes I played the equivalent of drop in hockey before the pandemic, skate a lot. This league was based in South Australia, I live in Melbourne, hopefully we will have a team or 2 next year.

The Redwings are happy that David has signed on for another 3 years. We will continue to help him grow his game, and believe that one day he will play for our senior team. A big thanks to Agent Arby for the negotiations.

Nobody here or anyone else is claiming that. They wouldn't able to call their league the NHL due to copyright. No doubt the players in this league can only dream of playing in the NHL. It's great for us hockey fans here in Aus to see the game we love grow, and see our best players get paid a little money to play the game they love.

[Signing] Canucks re-sign Brock Boeser

Ergo my comment. -
About ten years ago one of my friends took his son to Canada trying to get him some playing time in one of the Junior leagues. It didn't work out, big reason was kids in your country grow up with a stick in the hands. He didn't get a chance to play until his early teens. Hopefully this changes things albeit slowly. Gives kids something to aspire to.

Just watched the Final game in our first professional hockey league final series. https://www.nhsl.com.au/leagues/custom_page.cfm?clientid=6884&leagueid=33009&pageid=21292 The Adelaide Extreme won the Walker cup. We all hope this grows the sport in Australia. All games have been sellouts and we get to see hockey on free to air national TV on the weekends.

[Rumour] Bo Horvat Trade/Contract Talks
Ilunga replied to HOFsedins's topic in Trades, Rumours, Signings
Buy low, sell high. We got the first part right. -
If you come to Aus, as the GM of the CDCGML Detroit Redwings I can promise you a spot in our draft room.

[Signing] Canucks re-sign Brock Boeser

I hope all our players are training their guts out this off season. As professional athletes they are not only paid to do this, they should be driven to do this. To give them and our team the best chance of success. -

Thanks @mll This makes it pretty obvious this was the big part of the trade off. He takes a million or so less but has some control over his destiny in the final year of his contract in regards to being traded. -
Yes, would pay good money to have been in that room.
