  1. @gurn I know you care about this subject as do l. This is more good news on this topic https://www.goodnewsnetwork.org/eating-oily-fish-like-mackerel-or-salmon-lowers-alzheimers-risk/
  2. I agree their defense and Goal tending are very average. Their GM mismanaging their cap situation is also a problem for them. However to claim they are not an NHL quality team is ridiculous. What does that make all the teams that finished below them, including us ?
  3. Yes the team that took the 2 time defending cup champs and team that eventually made it to the cup final this year, to a seven game series in the first round of the play- offs, is not a actual NHL team. I hope we can say we can take the AVs to a seven game series ASAP.
  4. Congratulations @lethunder three time champ Gives us all something to aspire to. Commiserations to the Arizona Coyotes. Fighting to the very end.
  5. The Redwings are very Happy that Steven, our club Captain has decided to stay with us for what might be the rest of his career. He leads by example both on and off the ice. We now have what we believe to be two high quality young centres in our system, Alex and Logan. For them to be training with and then to be playing with a future Hall of famer will no doubt give them a better chance of success. Thanks to Agent Arby for the negotiations.
  6. My friends back here reminded me of this my friend. I just got sick of only having bad news to tell them. What I have gone through lately I would want nobody to experience. Something broke inside me and it is just starting to mend. I had so much fun today. I had already done a lot of research however at one stage I had over a dozen windows open on my phone, scouting reports on different players. One bit of advice I will pass on is treasure every moment that you have with your children. Those moments are so precious. Apart from the people we love, the most precious thing we have and can never be replaced once it's gone is time.
  7. Thanks my friend. As I have stated before this league is like home. Twice I have left because of events in my personal life and twice you have reached out and asked me to return. This means the world to me. My riches are the quality of the people in my life, my friends. This includes many of you guys in this league. It is easier to be a kind hearted gentle person when you associate with people like this. One day I will come back to Canada/ Vancouver and meet up with you guys. I have already promised the minister we will hang out.
  8. To you and everyone one else I have had a bit of a mental breakdown in the last month or so. The months leading into this have been the hardest of my life, even harder than four years in the court system fighting for my son and clearing my name. I deleted the discord app. I am very ashamed to say I have some really sad thoughts. But things are getting better. My son is starting to be happier than he was some months ago. When you are down there is only one way and that is up and I feel like I have turned a corner.
  9. I believe Lambert is gonna be the one that slipped through others fingers. I was so close to taking him however my penchant for offensive d- men, Rasmus Andersson, Anthony de Angelo, in previous drafts, had me pulling the trigger on Calle.
  10. 7am on a Sunday morning ! When my alarm woke me up I was like WTF ! Then I remembered and got all excited again. Again thank you so much my friends. My experience in life is a hundred people want a good time and it's always the same few that make that good time happen. You guys and the agents are well ,#_#@ yeah
  11. Cheers brother. The one regret I have is that I traded my second pick and lost the chance to draft Jordan Dumais who would have been available at that pick. Was hoping he would drop into the third. Got a feeling about him.
  12. The Redwings are very excited to welcome Logan Cooley David Jiricek Calle Odelius Devin Kaplan Mathew Seminoff Nicholas Moldenhauer to our club. Logan has the potential to be our first line centre once our club captain has decided he wants to take it a bit easier. David we project as being an anchor on our first line sometime in the next 4- 5 years. Calle has the makings of a second line offensive Defenseman that could spend time on the second power play unit. Devin is a big kid that plays a physical game. At best we hope maybe second line at worst hopefully 3rd line power forward. Matthew is to use one of the hardest working players in this draft, he gives it all every shift. A potential third line player, fourth at worst. Nicholas had battled adversity to play this game, it was this trait that finally tipped our hand in selecting him with our last pick. Last year he helped lead his team to a national championship. This year he had one of the scariest injuries any hockey player in any league can face, he took an opponent's skate blade in the face. This happened after an extended absence after suffering a virus doctors couldn't diagnose. When he finally returned to the game he scored over a PPG over 41 games. With a heart like that we wanted this person on our team.
  13. That's a great haul Theo. Some names in there I had my eye on, Jordan Gustafson and Paul Ludwinksi to name a couple.
  14. Had my eye on Dylan James in the 4th as well as Servac Petrovsky, in the end went with Nicholas Moldenhauer. Hopefully all three make it to the big league.
  15. With that Pick Detroit has finished the 2022 CDCGML Draft. We wish all the other Teams the best with the players they have selected. Thanks again to all involved.
  16. The Detroit Redwings select Nicholas Moldenhauer
  17. The Redwings select Matthew Seminoff
  18. With the 83 Rd pick Detroit selects Devin Kaplan
  19. Thank you and the Minister for all this work
  20. With the 19 th puck the Redwings select Calle Odelius
  21. With the 5th pick the Redwings select Daivd Jiricek
  22. With the second pick the Redwings select Logan Cooley
  23. The Detroit Redwings have offered contracts to all our Restricted Free Agents apart from Josh Teves We thank Josh for his contributions to our club and wish him the best in his future endeavours.
