[PGT] Columbus Blue Jackets at Vancouver Canucks | Mar. 08, 2020

St. Louis would take Beagle in a heart beat. I’m with you guys on LE, Sutter Roussel. I get it. But to say Graovac and Bailey would be a line to salivate over I don’t buy that at all. -

Ok Here it is you want to know what’s going on with Bo, here it is. He’s been used as a shutdown centre because he’s the best player we have that can handle those minutes. He’s worn that responsibility and as team captain on his sleeve. That’s what Bo is doing to try and help this team win. A defensive forward he’s walked away from being the retaliator because he doesn’t want to be in the box while his team try’s to kill off a pentaly or avoid fighting major because he would be in the box for minutes while the other teams top players are out. He isn’t hitting as much because he doesn’t want to get caught of position. He’s just as gritty As he’s always been along the boards. But he also has the responsibility to provide secondary scoring. He’s probably still going to get better in all aspects of the game but this has been no easy task for the first year captain. Green was his coach last year and the year before -
Isn't it time to give someone from Utica a chance instead of Eriksson?

Very badly. I want Toffoli in that spot. But it remains a mystery why JV has played a lot more then LE in that spot recently yet LE is always starting there. We saw it at the start of year. How long was LE in the press box for? Something happened. It’s almost like Green is playing along but doesn’t actually want him in the lineup let alone 4th line. But if he is in the lineup he’s shown marginal success with Bo. Green likes his forth line to have a little more speed and grit -

So we don’t have to suffer next year or the year after -

I guess I just question why he a RFA wasn’t offered a contract and became a UFA. Why he couldn’t stick on a team like Buffalo. AHL stats can be very misleading when the guys in his mid 20’s Although I agree he didn’t get much of a chance. I didn’t really notice much of what I saw other then he skates really fast. I think Bailey is a bit of a pipe dream but I can’t argue with a need in our bottom 6. -

He’s not going to trade BB Bree. People are bananas and are just trying to think of ways the team could be better. Focus should now be directed to defence. I’d like to see a couple players developed on the back end. As opposed to weakening our forward group to do that. -

The players actually shutdown when he was here. Every player is different and can’t all be treated the same. I remember him pointing and yelling at Edler. Funny enough it was Edlers worst year as a Canuck -

I don’t know he’s the captain of the Vancouver Canucks. I don’t think there’s anything he can do to satisfy the fan base. just look at the above comment -

Green like Mac, he’s said it many times. Bailey looked like a lost puppy out there. I don’t know what people see in that -

It frustrating not seeing him score those clutch goals or being out matched by Miller too. Man they really screwed up -

I thought it was the coach Alf? It’s JB too? I guess we are doomed for another 10 years. BTW the entire league missed out on Pastrnak in that draft. What world are you living in lol -

Very True. Bo has never been a lazy player either so he’s already has that on a younger Miller. Miller has been such a great played in all aspects of the game and a great guy to have around our captain. Give it a year or two and people will be eating crow or not probably still complain about our captain lol -

Imo the captain is actually Markstrom. He’s the backbone of this entire team. But we know how well that works hehe Miller is like a little bit older Horvat. I’ve said it before having Miller has been a great thing for Horvat. Fans need to stop with the letter crap and let things happen. Because there’s nothing wrong with having leadership outside the captain and it’s gonna help Bo big time -

Strip him. Would we be better then? Bo carried the team on his back because who else was going to do that? We have players now to support Bo. Let Bo be Bo and let him grow. Just like Petey and Hughes. Honestly If Hughes doesn’t crack 40 points next year, what are people going to say about him. Let’s support this team. -

True. It’s a team game for sure. I guess the biggest advice Bo got from his predecessors and it’s well documented. Don’t change your game. That was from H Sedin and Naslund. So if he’s changed his game then that’s on Bo. I say let the kid do his thing he’ll grow into his shoes -
