We all know what happens in the dressing room. Green shares it with us all in his post game interviews -

The impressions I’ve been getting from some fans is Horvat is not doing his job or that they expected more once he dawned the C. I would suspect we’d be having the exact same conversations if someone else was wearing the C. Its classic Canucks talk. Having said that I think Bo can grow more as a captain and I honesty don’t even think he’s hit his ceiling yet. I see the similarities in him and Miller and Miller has just arrived as a player 2 years older then Bo. I understand the frustration of fans I do, I get it. We’ve “patiently” been waiting for playoff hockey. I say that loosely of course cause frankly we’ve never been a patient bunch. 50 years for some you you will do that. I wanna win bad but I see a bigger picture and I see Bo being the captain of a great team for years to come. -

Practically the entire core. None which have even played meaningful games in March outside Horvat’s rookie season and Miller I guess -

Fair points but If we scored from center Ice there would have been a burst of energy’s, it’s natural for players to get some adrenaline from a goal. Petey hasn’t been effective in some games lately as well. Were they less important then yesterday’s ? Also another point would Petey or Miller be having the same seasons if they were named captain? -

This team needs both of them. Before BB got injured JB said we need another top 6 forward. People need to realize you don’t add to subtract. We need better defence sure. But we are going to have to wait. It went from piss poor to average in one season. It will get better and we need to inject more youth into the back end. There will be more growing paid but it’s all going to be worth it big time -

Toffoli Basically said yesterday he’s playing for a contract and wants to sign. Take it for what it is We need to hold onto 38 year old Brock Boeser. We were a better team with him in the line up. Toffoli improves our overall game and can put up offence but Boeser ceiling is high and chemistry with Petey is better then Toffoli. Can’t wait for a healthy BB so we can slot Toffoli with Bo. JV can continue to play up and down the line up. Whenever we need a boost or to switch things up -
Isn't it time to give someone from Utica a chance instead of Eriksson?

Weird. Green gave Mac a lot of credit. Said he has a soft spot for guys that play old school and hit like Mac. Where did you get this quote? -

I’ve been saying it for a while there is something more to it then what a fan can see. Just look at it right now. LE has been starting on Bo’s line the last few games but JV has practically played most of the game on that line after the first shift. It hasn’t been adding up entirely. Not that Loui can’t hold his own. He just can’t provide offence at all! It tiring with the whole Green playing LE thing because frankly there is something else in the background going on and I don’t doubt it. If this is what we go through to not have him on the roster next year count me in -

People just have to understand he’s not going anywhere until the seasons over. He may get scratched if Boeser is back but might still play too. This is an issue that won’t be solved this season. I think management have been careful with this. They wanted him to play to 1. Maybe so he has a value for a cap dump 2. We don’t really know whats gone on behind the scenes as far as discussions with JB and LE and his future. Playing him this year may be part of that He’s done more good then bad. Other then he can’t finish a play to save his life lol. The problem is fans are just frankly tired of seeing him and prefer to see someone else in the lineup. Let’s hope some resolve happens this summer. I’ve been tired of Loui for a long time too but I don’t see those guys in Utica helping us win games. -
Is his skating bad? I always thought it was decent

I like Myers and Beagle for signings. 9/10 your probably going to have to overspend come July 1st. Practically everyone does and it’s always a gamble dealing with 30 year olds. I don’t think anyone expected to LE to decline that heavily when they first signed him though. I could see us adding a Dman this summer but outside that we are probably done with signing guys to fill voids. Most of those guys your referring to will be gone possible this summer and for sure next summer. Every year we are probably going to have 1-2 rookies replacing those guys for the next few years

[Discussion] Barrie vs Schultz...July 1
Devron replied to 86Viking's topic in Proposals and Armchair GM'ing
I have interest in neither. Neither are a needed on this team. We need to stop getting scored on. We score goals just fine and our younger Dman have offensive upside and will be developed properly. Honestly I’m happy with Myers as our big dman signing for the next couple years. We need youth injected into the back end to really finish the rebuild. If we go out and sign someone I’d be a lot happier with a defensemen that’s really good in his own end oppose to offensive. The offence can wait until either Raff or Rathbone fill that void -
Interesting. Im deciding on who to draft in my fantasy pool I’ll have an opportunity to draft Rathbone or Rafferty. And I figure Raff will play next year, not sure about Rathbone and I’d obviously wanna wait until he’s signed
-
Would you say that outside podz that Rathbone is our best prospect now?
-
This will be what posts will look like all summer. Happens every summer. Where will everyone fit. And every year someone forces their way on to the team even if they goto Utica for a couple weeks at the start of the year. They come back and play because they deserve to be there. Sometimes there’s the technical things that happen like waivers but it literally figured out everytime. If Lind and Raff are NHL ready they’ll be on the team. Also expansion happens 2021 not this year

I was thinking this last night. I even saw someone say he should be on the first PP haha. It won’t take long and the novelty will wear off and fans be either dissing Mac or something along the lines of Green ruined his development haha -

I don’t think he has either. He got a 5 minute boarding I think and a suspension one time. His game was effected by it for a long time. When he’s hitting he’s one of the beat in the game. I honesty just think he doesn’t want to hurt anyone. I agree 100% if he did get into a fight one day. It wouldn’t be just a fight it would be Edler snapping. And I wouldn’t wanna be the guy on the other end lol -

He did and got a penalty for being 6’8 -
A lot of that is if we miss the playoffs. Which one could argue that even as a Green supporter that’s he’d be fired if we miss the playoffs. I think we were another year away personally from playoffs at the start of the year so Greens done a pretty good job. Having said that Im sure management will be reviewing the coaching positions if we miss the playoffs regardless Fans are an emotional bunch, the percentage would be different if this post wasn’t created in the midst of a 4 game losing streak. So the results surprised me
