Like someone said, character loss. Silovs was really good. Thought Podz played really well the second half of the game. Hughes was a master controlling thepuck on in our end, so smooth and doen't panic. I thought. Petey had some good chances but thought he looked like he was fighting the puck tonight. Missing Schenn

Yeah he's 26 but he plays with the exuberance, excitement and joy of a 19 year old kid. I'm glad we kept him. He could get close to 40 goals this year.

Why would that be a good thing (winning 20 games)??? Would we make the playoffs? NO! Would it make us a better teeam in the long run or even next year? Probably not! Would it mean a higher draft pick? YES! Would it reduce our already slim chances of winning the Bedard lottery? YES! Outside of a misguided need for meaningless short term gratification I don't see why it would be a positive thing,
