You probably couldn't trade Horvat for Hronek straight up if it was just a one for one deal. Some people don't seem to understand that. They think a scoring centre who is average defensively is worth more than a 50+ point top 4 RHD who is 25 and can run a power play. Sometimes I wonder how some people actually follow hockey...

So the full deal is: Bo Horvat 2023 2nd round pick for Filip Hronek Anthony Beauvillier Aatu Raty 2023 4th round pick If we were trading BO and our 2nd and we got that return back in one trade, would that not be a good trade? I think it would be a home run. Need to look at the bigger picture here...

One bite at a time my friend. The big bruising Dmen are on their way. They are cheaper to get than a legit top 4 RHD who can put up 50+ points and run a power play. I mean, how often is a player like Hronek even available? Think about that. Who is the last RHD under 26 years old that puts up 50+ points that was traded?

We change our avatars. I already made this bet but I will do it with you as well. If OEL gets bought out then you need to change your avatar to Petey is a God for a month. If he is still on the team next year I will change my avatar to an OEL pic for a month. If he gets put on LTIR the bet is off...

We need bangers on the 3rd pairing, not OEL and Bear. We need guys that know how to kill a penalty and clear the front of the net. You do realize our OK is the worst in NHL history right? Why do you think that is? I know why. it's pretty obvious. Hughes and Hronek will be the guys that get us all the points. We need some Ryan Graves and a younger version of Luke Schenn on the team now.

He's untradeable. Nobody is taking him for $4.76 million for 4 years and he has a NMC anyways and won't agree to a trade even if we could find a trade partner. I'll take that bet. You name the price. The only stipulation is that if he goes on LTIR then the bet is off as that is the best-case scenario and may also happen...

Erik Johnson is a 6'4" heavy Dman who is perfect for the 3rd pairing for Colorado's cup run. OEL is not a 3rd pairing guy. People want to put him there because they can't fathom that he will be bought out. Reality is he will be and we will get some beef on that 3rd pairing for $1-2 million. Who knows, maybe Schenn comes back and plays the 3rd pairing for $1 million...
