If Harrington is included then that means a D is going back. Probably Bahl... -

So a 2023 1st, Zetterlund, AND? I say it's a Dman as well. Maybe another pick too. I'd rather have Raty and a mid-first than a late first and Zetterlund and another prospect and pick... -

Super computers actually have a personality and a sense of humour. This AI sh*t is pretty cool... -
THIS. Amen brother. Seems like some people like to throw players under the bus so quickly and label them with character issues even though they know nothing about them. Getting demoted to the AHL is a bigger deal than people think. If a player is in his contractual rights to earn his full paycheque and stay with the big club then why should they agree to go down to the farm team? The Rangers have like 5 guys who they are supposedly still developing, including a 1st overall pick and a 2nd overall pick. Seems like they may not have the best system in place to develop young talent. Hopefully we give Kravtsov the chance he needs to live up to his draft status.

Meh, I'm just looking out for Vancouver... But if they asked me, I would say that they are getting a veteran RW who they can perhaps rehabilitate into a 25-goal scorer as well as a good young prospect in Hoglander. Fabbro is an RFA, is Nashville going to even extend him? They have a couple guys like Jeannot already and need more scoring up front. In any Boeser trade, the other team will have to believe he has the potential to get back to being a 25+ goal scorer. If no team believes that then Boeser is probably gonna ride out his contract in Vancouver and go back to Minnesota in a couple of years as a UFA for a cheap one year show me deal...

Benning made that trade to try and keep his job. It was a short term move to make a playoff push that year. It completely backfired on him and cost him his job regardless. We are now suffering the end result. Hopefully, the new management can slowly get back the cap space that was wasted on that deal and in the meantime trade other assets to free up more cap space...

Jeannot is the tough forward we need. He can play up and down the lineup. Fabbro comes back home and hopefully gets his game back to be that RHD puck mover that we are missing. Solves two problems for us. More focus on the D in the summer and maybe with Schenn and Demko trades we can get back more Dmen as well...

Podkolzin should play with Petey and Kuzy. He is the perfect compliment for that line. With all the wingers we have now I don't see Beauvillier here long term. He's probably flipped at the deadline next year. With Kravtsov, I'd like to see him on a line with Raty and Mikheyev. He would be the offensive weapon on that line. Kuzmenko Petersson Podkolzin Miller Fantilli Klimovich Mikheyev Raty Kravtsov I'm not holding any hope we get Bedard, but if we get Fantilli who is like Mike Modano then we are pretty much set up front and can focus 100% on the defence in the summer...

Podkolzin seems to be a good fit for Petey and Kuzy. They don't need another scoring winger on that line, as Tocchet said they need a guy to go get the puck and go to the dirty areas of the ice. Also, someone who plays a heavy 200' game. Similar to what Burrows did with the Sedins. I think Podkolzin would be a great long term fit on the right side with Petey and Kuzy...

With a wife and 2 kids you would think they would have needed more than 3 weeks to get their business in order in Vancouver before moving permanently to another country. There is more to moving than just selling a house. Dude couldn’t get out of Vancouver fast enough. Also, Vancouver real estate is one of the best real estate investments in the world. Lots of ex-Canucks still have homes in Vancouver. With $68 million you can easily keep your place in Vancouver and buy another place in New York.
