  1. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/0 0 (zero) is a number, and the numerical digit used to represent that number in numerals. It fulfills a central role in mathematics as the additive identity of the integers, real numbers, and many other algebraic structures. As a digit, 0 is used as a placeholder in place value systems. https://www.britannica.com/story/is-zero-an-even-or-an-odd-number When 0 is divided by 2, the resulting quotient turns out to also be 0—an integer, thereby classifying it as an even number.Though many are quick to denounce zero as not a number at all, some quick arithmetic clears up the confusion surrounding the number, an even number at that.
  2. I totally agree about Gretzky. My comment was more about the GIF. I never saw Gretzky do anything like that in such a tight space. Not even Jagr or Lemieux. Bure was short but stocky and low to the puck which allowed him to do those kind of crazy moves that really nobody else could have ever done. I did see Gretzky deke the heck out of most opposing players however. He didn't do it at the speed that Bure did however, which was mostly my point.
  3. I chose Grant Fuhr. If it wasn't for the extra curricular activities I think he would have been a living legend...
  4. Give me the Cup so I can die in peace. Don't really care what happens after I'm dead...
  5. John Davidson also wore 00. But Sheehy was the only one to wear 0...
  6. Apparently Neil Sheehy is the only player in NHL history to wear #0. And he only wore it for one year. So you are forgiven for not catching it...
  7. Short and Sweet. Only 4 candidates. But I think this is a tough one to call. Let's get some good debates on this one. Which #31 in their prime are you taking?
  8. I wouldn't even trade BO straight up for Eichel right now. Eichel is going in for major neck surgery. His career may be over before he is 30.
  9. To answer your question directly NO I would not trade Petey for the 3rd overall pick in 2021 and Trevor Zegras. The 3rd overall pick is an unknown quantity in a draft where there is no clear #1 pick. Zegras is also relatively unknown although he had a decent year last year. I would stick to the known quantity at this point. Petey is only 22 and is going to get much better. He could be a 100 point player in a couple years. The type of trade you are referring to is usually done for a more established player in their mid to late 20's where a team is trying to get over the top to win a Cup and the team that is trading that player is looking to rebuild. Vancouver is not in rebuild mode any longer. We have our core of star players. And one of those is Petey, so no point to trade him now while he's still young unless it's a blow your socks type trade where you just can't say no. Zegras and the 3rd overall pick in 2021 isn't that type of deal.
  10. Better in what way? They are both averaging close to a point a game, however Petey has done it in only 3 years, while Eichel is already on 6 years. 3 years from now Petey could be a 100 point player. Also, Petey is 2 years younger and has not even reached his prime years yet, he has already played in the playoffs and averaged a point a game last year in the post season. Eichel hasn't even played a playoff game yet so we don't even know what he would do in the playoffs. But even after all of that, as of right now, Eichel has a serious neck issue that could cut his career short while Petey is relatively healthy other than a bum wrist. And to top it all off Eichel is signed to a mega contract of $10 million for the next 5 years while Petey is going to most likely sign a 3 year deal in the $6-7 million range. I'd stay far away from Eichel at this point. Petey on the other hand could be headed to stardom...
  11. I’m thinking we probably don’t need to bother with 4, 66, 97 and 99.
  12. Jorginho with the cheekiest penalty kick you will ever see. He is one of the best ever in that situation. Italy is in the finals. Will England follow? Will Jorginho win the Champions League AND the Euro in the same year? Could be a game for the ages on Sunday…
  13. This may be the toughest one yet. Which #16 in their prime are you taking?
  14. I think he’s referring to Hughes here but he also could be talking about Rathbone.
  15. Gretzky couldn't do what Bure did. He was more of a playmaker. Jagr and Lemieux tried and both were exceptional, but the advantage Bure had was he was much smaller than the other 2 so he had more leverage with the puck. Plus I think he had better edge work than either Jagr or Lemieux. The advantage Jagr and Lemieux had was they were both much bigger and stronger than Bure so they were able to basically bully their way through other players. I saw Jagr and Lemieux do things with the puck that Bure could never do. But that GIF that was posted, in such a tight space, I don't think Jagr or Lemieux could have done that to be honest.
  16. I think Rathbone makes the team. With Rathbone in the lineup I can see a Schmidt trade. Package him with a prospect and our 2nd round pick and try and find a long term partner for Hughes. Hakanpaa can be great on the 2nd pairing with either Rathbone or Juolevi. Olesiak can be the swing man on the left side. Olesiak and Hakanpaa makes us a much tougher team to play against. So the question becomes who can we get in a Schmidt trade as a partner for Hughes?
  17. I don't believe any other player in NHL history could ever do this. Not even McJesus...
  18. Petey, Huggy and Bure on the ice at the same time would be deemed illegal by the NHL...
  19. I chose Pavel Bure. The most exciting player in NHL history. In his prime he was unstoppable. Without the knee injuries he gets 700 goals...
