  1. Month of March: Canucks 8-2 - 16 points Edmonton 6-4 - 12 points Montreal 4-2-4 - 12 points Calgary 5-3-1 - 11 points Winnipeg. 5-4-1 - 11 points Ottawa 3-5-2 - 8 points Toronto 3-6 - 6 points
  2. Well you don’t normally get an MRI for a concussion so we can rule that out...
  3. It’s still mathematically possible that we can win the division... Just sayin...
  4. Yzerman is probably the 2nd best drafter in the NHL. Kucherov in the 2nd and Point in the 3rd is pure highway robbery. His later picks seem to be better than his top picks though. Vasilevskiy at 19 was a home run, but his pick prior to that at 10th overall was a complete bust, Slater Koekkoek. Although he could be a part of the all time name team. Namestnikov and Joseph aren’t really impressive and DeAngelo never played for him and maybe will never play again in the NHL. Still impressive though. Moritz Seider looks like a franchise defencman so he’s continuing where he left off with Detroit as well.
  5. Jim Benning is so incompetent he drafted a franchise goalie in the 2nd round. I wonder how Calgary is feeling with that stud Mason McDonald who they picked 2 spots before Demko. Oh that's right, McDonald is a bust and playing in the ECHL so they had to go out and pay $6 million for the next 6 years for our leftovers...
  6. You should probably be worrying about your next game and if you will still have a job after getting destroyed 9-0 by a team with less points than the Canucks.
  7. Holland had a 20 year run from 1998-2018: 1998 - Pavel Datsyuk 1999 - Henrik Zetterburg 2000 - Niklas Kronwall 2002 - Valteri Filppula 2009 - Tomas Tatar 2013 - Anthony Mantha 2013 - Tyler Bertuzzi 2014 - Dylan Larkin 2018 - Filip Zadina He had a good run. 2 definite superstars back in the day in the late 90's. But not even Holland had a 7 year run like Benning has had since 2014.
  8. Demko is a future Vezina trophy winner. He may even win the Hart trophy. At 25 he is fully matured and ready to take on the world. If we ever make the playoffs he could pull a Patrick Roy and get us to the promised land. Demko, Pettersson, Boeser, Hughes, Podkolzin, Hoglander. Has any GM in history drafted so many superstars outside of the top 3 picks in a 7 year period?
  9. I still remember that. It if was up to CDC we'd have Cody Glass or Gabriel Villardi instead of Elias Pettersson and we'd have Markstrom instead of Demko. Maybe we should be firing the posters on CDC who wanted to make these stupid decisions.
  10. I didn't realize top goalies let in 7 goals per game and get pulled after the 2nd period 2 games in a row. Show me a top goalie in the NHL where this has happened. Markstrom was a late bloomer, he was on waivers 5 years ago at age 25. He had 2 really good seasons with Vancouver under Ian Clark. He never deserved a 6x6 contract. Only Calgary was stupid enough to give it to him. That contract will be one of the worst in the league in a couple years. Without Clark Markstrom will be a .900 SV% the rest of his career. People on this forum were crucifying Benning for letting Markstrom walk. Looks like Benning will get the last laugh at all the Monday morning quaterbacks on this fourm. Demko is going to be s superstar, a Vezina trophy winner. Drafted by Benning. Keeping Demko and letting Markstrom walk was the absolute best decision Benning has ever made. I'm not actually trying to crap on Markstrom. It's more to do with the people in this forum crapping on Benning on a daily basis and never giving him credit for his brilliant decisions. Keeping Demko and letting Markstrom walk was a brilliant decision.
  11. That Demko guy looks pretty good. That Markstrom guy not so much. Maybe Benning is really smarter than some of you guys...
